  1. Because every table needs more trees, here's a set of trees from Dark Realms "Halfling Shirelands" As always, printed on the trusty Creality Ender-3.
  2. Another simple piece printed on my Ender-3, "The Smoking Hut" from Hobgoblin3D. I picked it up during the recent Humble Bundle. Definitely a prime spot to hit up for any adventurer heading back into town.
  3. Yet another dwelling to explore, here is the Northvakt Viking House from 3DLayeredScenery. Printed, as usual, on my Creality Ender 3.
  4. "A ship with a skull on the stern has to have some fierce sounding name like the Devil's Scorn!" The Devil's Scorn, a ship from EC3D: Depths of Savage Atoll Kickstarter. Printed as usual on my Creality Ender-3
  5. My most recent finished piece of terrain is a Viking Brewery, a promotional item from Lovecraft Designs and printed on an Ender-3.
  6. "Get ye Oiles of Snake within!" 3D printed Potion Shop by DNk85 on Thingiverse.
  7. Here's my next finished buildings from EC3D's Kickstarter Project "Empire of Scorching Sands", the Desert Outpost and Merchant House.
  8. Inspired by a friend who praised me as "a paladin, maybe a Modron paladin" (I'm not sure what he meant either, quarantine is weird) I finished up the not-Modrons from Stonehaven Miniatures. Quirky little pieces but the sculptor's unfamiliarity with them in the lore when they were a fan suggestion meant they're quite underscaled for D&D.
  9. Recently completed: The Shipwreck 3D printed from the Kickstarter set Depths of Savage Atoll, by EC3D Designs.
  10. Two simple dwellings, 3D prints from Empire of Scorching Sands, a Kickstarter by EC3D Designs.
  11. Arriving just in time for those quarantine blues, I got in the 2nd set of Imperial Halflings from The Assault Group's recent Kickstarter. A Halfling Noble/Elder of the Moot/the entire reason I backed: "Wash your hands, wash your feet, don't touch your face."
  12. Converted from a base of a Bronze Age Miniatures Dwarf, this piece will represent Alora, a Dwarf Bard from the College of Lore, my wife's character for an upcoming D&D campaign. Additional pieces came from the Frostgrave Soldiers II and Wizards II kits, a lute from Mega Minis, and a quill recovered from an old Warhammer Empire Soldiers kit. It's a bit hard to see in the photos, but as her reason for adventuring is to get over writer's block, her only entry in the book is a tribute to Spongebob's infamous essay.
  13. Picked up just because I wanted to paint some more Ghouls, here are The Grymwatch from Warhammer Underworlds. I was amazed the amount of character they can get into a snap-fit kit these days.
  14. More minis prepared for an upcoming Warhammer: Age of Sigmar escalation league. First we have The Wurmspat, the Nurgle warband from Warhammer: Underworlds And painted at the same time, also for my Maggotkin of Nurgle, a random Blightking, a Harbinger of Decay, and a converted Lord of Blights.
  15. I forgot to post these earlier as it's been a crazy last few months, but my first finished miniatures of 2020 were Putrid Blightkings for an upcoming Warhammer escalation league. Some were rebased for AoS and touched up, some were brand new(ish)
  16. Fresh off the painting table come the Dwarf Adventurers II from Stonehaven Miniatures. Their first Kickstarter, another set of Dwarfs, was the second Kickstarter I ever backed! First, a group of the "traditional" Dwarfs, if any of them can be called as such. One of my favorites of the set, a Dwarf Barber: Here are the Dwarfs I thought would work better as Duergar.
  17. Recently arrived from Japan, here's my work on the Space Marine Heroes III: Death Guard set.
  18. Fresh from their latest Kickstarter, here are some Mercenaries from MOMMiniaturas. They're really making me want to play Mordheim again. The Ogres: A Witch Hunter type: A self-portrait that I had to get as an add-on: A very obvious remake of one of Mordheim's first special characters, Johann the Knife: The rest of the Empire-style mercenary scum:
  19. Here's some shots from the penultimate session of our D&D game. The party finally confronts the Sewn Sisters. The tiles are from "Dwarven Forge" and "Secret Weapon". The tables, chairs, and most props are from "Mantic:Terrain Crate", with the cauldron being from an Old Glory Crones set. The Scarecrow & Leomon (Half-Elf Paladin) are from "Reaper Bones". The rest of the party are 3D prints, from HeroForge, Desktop Hero, and Miguel Zavala. The Sewn Sisters are 3D prints from DarkRealms. Everything was hand painted by myself.
  20. Kislev lives on in our hearts forever. I've continued my theme of building the Frostgrave: Ghost Archipelago Crew with a Steppes feel. The majority of these are built using bodies and arms from the Crew kit, with some Empire/Mordheim heads and other outsourced bits. The last batch wound up being more generic Pirate types.
  21. I figured it was time to work on some Elves. They're definitely the smallest part of my painted collection. The first batch is all from Reaper Miniatures. These are the metal ones: The Drow who snuck in (from the box of Goodwill, no less) More from Reaper, but this time in Bones:
  22. Next up to bat, a selection of the denizens of Dreadmere, from Reaper Miniatures: Bones 4
  23. Another themed set, Knights from Bones 4. Mrs. Forscale is one of my favorites from the Core set.
  24. Needing some Dricheans for Frostgrave: Ghost Archipelago, I figured I'd use what I had on hand. These are all Greek and Roman pieces from Wargames Foundry
