A rush job I put together in a weekend. So be brutal, I am trying to up my game. I know I need to work on the eyes. But how are the skin tones?

I’m happy with how both of them came out, and now I just need to paint up a knight so I can field them in a game. I’m thrilled with how the freehand came out, it was worth the effort. Lug could probably stand to have a bit more shading on the non-yellow parts, but I don’t mind if he looks a bit plasticky. Unrelated to these two, but here's another Relic Knights mini I finished. Yes, this is totally a game piece.

So via the medium of eBay, Drifter and I found an interesting bundle of 40k minis. One of those, I caved and bought, because I thought she was really interesting. Image - http://i.ebayimg.com/00/s/ODAwWDgwMA==/z/t9YAAOSwPcVVrff2/$_57.JPG (Linked for bewbage) I picked up the Mechanic Female Adept Tech Priest (With Axe), because... What the hey. She was listed as 48mm, but I don't think that's quite right, though it's possible she's been measured differently. I dunno. She's certainly a little on the large side (and due to her sculpt, she is very tall), but I could probably give her axe to Sir Forescale and it wouldn't look out of place, so I'm inclined to say she's a large 28mm, with typos. However, she's beautifully detailed, if made of quite a number of parts and a bit confusing at first glance. Mine also has, I think, some fairly major casting tabs or something, which is confusing life considerably, as I'm not only terrible at assembly, I'm also a huge wuss. This is how she arrived: Another link =P Cautiously dryfitting her, and there's dearest Sir Forscale =] https://scontent-lhr3-1.xx.fbcdn.net/hphotos-xap1/v/t1.0-9/12108143_10153375597403451_8907435325946399657_n.jpg?oh=fe722099396f158f26cc26c01833a1f2&oe=568DA310 But erhh... She scares me, haha. I may end up waiting for Drifter to get here (as he's coming to stay next week), and then have help with getting her cleaned and put together properly.
