Trying to workout my colors for fur on the Gnolls I will be painting for a campaign

First time using the olive triad. Fun figure to paint but I have several touch ups and some highlighting to do. Can’t hide from the dang camera

I started this demon years ago but finally pulled it from the box of shame. Not sure why I put an arrow in it, but he’s tough and will get revenge…. Practiced glowing metal spear tip, a lava cracked base, and using black and purple.

My Secret Sophie partner is moving, so I needed to get mine done and in the mail ASAP. After spending a decent amount of time on the skin, the rest of it got pushed through fairly quickly. Quickly enough I probably missed something, but that's for my partner to find. The photos of Ollamiel are mostly color accurate, though I don't recall the red cloth looking so vibrant in hand. Taking these pics made me realize I'd missed the bits in her hair. Her clothing was something of an experiment. They didn't quite work as expected, but tropical fish come in all sorts of colors and there wasn't really time to redo them anyway so... If you ever purchase her be aware she is one of those minis with an unfortunate mold line across her face. It cleaned up well enough that she is ok from either side, but when viewed directly you can see the symmetry is a bit off.

I was digging through some stuff and found these two guys...the first two minis that I ever painted! They're not my best work, (obviously), but it's always fun to see older stuff. Not so much a "show off" thread as it is a trip down memory lane. 🙂 By the way, I know we've got some metal scholars here. Can anyone identify the exact name of either one of these guys? I got them from a buddy, so I have no idea what they were originally called. Like I said in the title, I'm 99% sure they're Ral Partha (probably 80's, if I had to guess). Edit: turns out, they're actually from Grenadier. Thanks, Chaoswolf!
