  1. Finally finished the Monkey King miniature I've been working on over the past month. Although I'm fairly new to the hobby, I've got a few minis from a few different companies in a few different materials (metal, plastic, resin) and this is by far the most problematic mini I've ever had to work with. He's fragile resin and I mean fragile. His staff broke twice while I was painting it, I sculpted green stuff around the second break (this the ribbons on the staff) to try and give it some more stability. His right leg also snapped while I was cutting him off the sprue it was on. *pulls out hair* He is an impressive figure, just... problematic. This was a commission for a friend, I'll be painting minis for everyone in their Pathfinder group. I love painting asian-themed minis.
