  1. Hello All, Here is a 77446 Dark Heaven Bones "Werebear" I completed today. Thank you for looking.
  2. Hey everyone, here's a 02172, Cerberus I completed last night. This Dark Heaven Legends model was sculpted by Sandra Garrity. I was inspired by Simon Eckert's artwork for the choice of colors.
  3. Hello All, Here is a recent work I completed last week. 44049 Bones Black "Stone Lurker" aka "Roper." Thank you for looking.
  4. Hello All, Here is a 07047 Unicorn I completed a bit ago. Thank you for looking.
  5. Hello All, I completed this "Gutrags", Stitch Golem miniature today. Made it a bit dirty and worn.
  6. Painted as a gorgon for D&D, so iron not brass. Quick speed paint. Not terribly much to be done given the colour scheme. Tried to make the floor a bit more interesting. .
  7. Hello All, Here is a 77020 Bathanlian D'khul I completed today. I do believe it is supposed to be an Illithid - Mind Flayer 😉. Thank you for looking.
  8. Hello All, Here is a recent work. "Male Revenant" 77301. I did change out the head. I removed the original head and replaced it with a skull. The skull was pinned in place. When I first saw the miniature, it made me think of the old Scooby Doo cartoon villains. So, I painted the skull to look like it is glowing a bit with glowing pinpoint eyes. Thank you for looking.
  9. Hello All, Here are some Dungeon Vermin: Scorpions 77125 I completed a few weeks ago. Thank you for looking.
  10. Hello All, Here are two Barrow Rats I completed painting last week. Thank you for looking.
  11. I am so excited about this but I've got some definite hurdles to jump over to get it done. I feel this is the only place I can share about this because I'm fairly confident the recipient won't see it. I am painting a 3d print of Zinogre from Monster Hunter. I know nothing about this but I've found some good references. Thus far I've spend 2 hours on just prep and I'm not sure I'm done. It's a decent sized mini, about 9 inches long and 6 inches tall at the highest point. My big struggle so far are the print lines. The picture I saw before I accepted this looked pretty smooth. When I got it I was surprised how much you can actually see it. Thus far I have primed it with Stynylrez (grey) by hand and done 2 coats of gloss varnish/medium to start to reduce the appearance and feel of the lines. I've still got quite a bit of texture to deal with and I don't really want to go through half my gloss varnish to get it smooth and risk losing the subtle details. So if anyone has any ideas of how to fix this further without starting over and spray priming I'm all ears. I was lucky enough that my friend had an extra copy that was slightly smaller and had some printing issues. I've been using this to test things out before I commit to putting it on the model. I did a test patch of primer, then gloss, then primer again and that feels smooth. This is where I'm at (spoiled for big pics):
  12. Basilisk vs. Cockatrice Two monsters going at it, or alone.
  13. Scale 75 Instant Colours over black and white sketch.
  14. This is the last mini I painted from the Dark Souls Board Game. Painting it for a friend of Youngest Vixen's boyfriend. Painted this guy last week. https://forum.reapermini.com/index.php?/topic/98535-gargoyle-dark-souls-board-game-by-glitterwolf/ WIP: https://forum.reapermini.com/index.php?/topic/96134-painting-dark-souls-board-games-miniatures-by-glitterwolf/ Here is the last one form the set. The Dancer of the Boreal Valley he's called. I don't think I wanna dance with him.
  15. Hey everyone, here's 02953, Cyclops sculpted by Tim Prow. It stands on a 25mm base and is 40mm tall to the top of the head. I've wanted to paint this model for a long time, it's been patiently waiting on the shelf for months. I finally found time to complete it last night during a late night session. I painted the grass on the base so it would look like orange tundra moss instead of regular green broccoli. What do you think?
  16. As I mentioned before, I'm painting the minis for the Board Game - Dark Souls for a friend of Younges Vixen's Boyfriend. Complete Project WIP here: https://forum.reapermini.com/index.php?/topic/96134-painting-dark-souls-board-games-miniatures-by-glitterwolf/ This guy is Executioner Smough. Enjoy:
  17. Experimental speed paint. Transparent paints over a grisaille value sketch, with a few washes and pigments to finish off. Method worked pretty well for a monster with a lot of texture. .
  18. 3D printed on my Elegoo Mars. Design Great Grimoire Moonfox Abomination Part of my Asian themed Project ( Nippon Land of the Rising Moon) WIP here: https://forum.reapermini.com/index.php?/topic/79416-nippon-land-of-the-rising-moon-by-glitterwolf/page/17/
  19. I bought this guy as a potential diorama subject, but he wasn't quite right. I did a quick paintjob to get him off the table/out of the shame pile. I recently found out how to make crystals out of sprue.
  20. 32 mm STL, resin and metal miniatures of Mythos Villians with serious references to characters from popular culture! 48 hour Early Bird pledge level. I've been pleased with the quality of their STL files from previous projects. https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/saberandblood/mythos-villains
  21. These were a fun little summer paint job. I tried to show the mushrooms in their three stages of development, from young to mature.
  22. This is the bones version of 3761, and I think it has not made it into the store yet. I painted it like a big orc, or like the title says, half-ogre/half-orc. I don't normally paint blood, but this guy needed a little extra to emphasize how mean he is.
  23. Hello everyone, here is the last of the four amazing ogre from Bobby Jackson. This one is 44006, Garghuk Ogre Chieftain. All painted with Reaper MSP paint and mounted on a 50mm wide base. Group picture form left to right; 44006 Garghuk Ogre Chieftain, 77454 Ogre Clubber, 77456 Ogre Guard and 77455, Ogre Smasher.
  24. This is Miguel Zavala's redesigned Umber Hulk, printed on my Mars Pro and painted with Vallejo acrylics. It's a monster I haven't used much, if at all, in my own campaign, but my favourite character of old, Sir Fnord the Pretty Neat died of them twice, both times by having his head ripped clean off.
  25. I've been slowly (very slowly) working my way through some of the larger non-humanoid figures in my collection. This one took me about a year to complete, mostly because of the wings. I haven't figured out how to do the translucent effect yet, but I'm getting closer.
