  1. Took me long enough to sculpt, then paint, then photograph this fella, but here he is at long last! The ape-armed brute, the mook, the Fall Guy, the smash-and-grab man with the cauliflower ears and the broken nose. Made with the crowbar from EL DIABLO. What's his name? Puddin' Tame. Ask him again, he'll tell you the same. More angles: "Whoof, finally got that safe down. Gutman better find something good in here; dat weren't easy." "Whoa whoa whoa fellas! This ain't what it looks like, and I admit it sure LOOKS...not real great." Let's also celebrate the real hero of this picaresque narrative, the shipping container! I need to get a second one and see just how far I can push the rust effects. Also need to airbrush some graffiti on there.
  2. This is Hasslefree's HFA183 from their modern adventurers line. Our game needed some regular modern mook types, and Hasslefree is pretty good with them. I started him ages ago, but life and politics intervened. There is no WIP thread.
  3. This is Reaper's 14184: Bloodseeker Vampire, Necropolis Solo, sculpted by Matt Gubser. There isn't a WIP thread. I think he's just supposed to be some vampire mook foot soldier. I was scrolling through the Reaper catalogue looking for vampires and this one looked kind of interesting and dynamic without any fancy armor or angst. I especially liked that expressive cape. This was also an experiment in painting with a subdued palette. So many of my figures get so bright ... I thought I'd try something with mainly earth tones. Comments and critiques are welcome, as always. (After I took these pictures I realized I had gotten a little silver paint on the black edge of his base. It's been fixed.)
  4. Here's some love for the little guys, because it isn't all about the big bads. A gang of nasty, orangey kobolds! -E.E.
