After almost a year, a new miniature arises, it is a Eye Beast by Julie Guthrie (which I was happy surprised to find out a signature in the back). Take some liberty to learn a little about giant eyes with Ms Guthrie herself, and voilá! (it is a shame the varnish seems to not show in the pictures. I used matte for the boddy, and a gloss one for the eyes, this made them shinny and very cool). As always, critiques are welcomed and encouraged.

After a lot happened to me in this last months, I finally finished one painting job, 3197: Thelgar Halfblood, Half Orc Barbarian sculpted by John Manor. His colors were picked by my son, after all this miniature is his character in our game. Can´t photograph good enough to get the colors right (we don´t have milk jugs here in the south hemisphere, and the light box I created clearly isn´t working), but the image that he is standing in the cutting mat is the "close enough" to post here. Please critiques are welcome (and now that is finished I can see the crazy eyes job I did... )

Happy birthday, antipodean one! (...I'm sorry this is late in the day. I've been locked out of the forums until now.)

Well, I had just painted 2 miniatures in my entire life until I got a e-mail from Paizo telling about Reaper´s Kickstarter. And when it hit me that I will have to paint 300 miniatures I know I have to practice. So I order some BONES from Reaper, bought some brush, paint, and started to improve my dorment skills. Here are the first, The Ogre Chieftain by Jason Wiebe. Hopefully I can get tips and criticism that will help me achieve the level of painting that I want. I had problems finding the correct flow in the sholder tatoo paint. It came out a little thick (but I did it so many times that I was worry that the tatoo will fade, so I just leave it as that). Enjoy! :) .
