Finished after a few delays from a project started in...December 2019, woops, are some more female residents of Frostgrave. All are from the official range from North Star Miniatures, other than two metal minis they are all built from the Frostgrave Soldiers II and Frostgrave Wizards II boxed sets, though they may have a few accessories from elsewhere (and the Cultists from the Frostgrave Cultists kit. The two metals: a Barbarian Apothecary and Barbarian Apprentice. The Cultists: Just plain Thieves: Obviously Wizards: K'ren, Slayer of Managers: A hero type: Those who could pass as Townsfolk: a Mule/Porter, an Arcanist/Old Woman, Town Cryer, local guide, and Apothecary/Potion Vendor.

Fresh off the paint table, some Rogues from the Stars from...well, "Rogue Stars". They're very retro, and would definitely work for "Slipstream" or "Rogue Stars" as well. The assembled Rogues: The Captain (though he strikes me as more of a Rogue Trader: The Rogue: The Lionman: Sniper-Bot: The Floyd-Bot: Big Bot: The Dominar...er, Crime Lord: Security Officer: The Pirate: Turtle-Turle:

Slightly delayed as I had to work on editing the photos, here's the last of my recently arrived miniatures, the Barbarians that came with Frostgrave: Forgotten Pacts. First, the full might of the horde: The Crowmaster, sans crow: The Templar, who I thought resembled Tormund from Game of Thrones/Song of Ice and Fire: The Javelineer: And some solo shots of the plastics.

Since I've been working on gathering the forces for Frostgrave, with "Into the Breeding Pits" being out, I had to work on a ton of Gnolls! All of these are from the official Frostgrave line by North Star Miniatures. The groups, both in plastic and metal: Gnoll Templar: Gnoll Apothecary: Gnoll Thief: Gnoll Marksman: Gnoll Barbarian: Hyenas: Treasure Hunters/Trap Experts/Tunnel Fighters: Gnoll Crossbowmen: Gnoll Archers: Thugs: Templars and Infantrymen:

As usual, in the last painting binge, I wound up with a few pieces who didn't group with the others. They're all intended for Frostgrave, but they're more random Soldiers and encounters than anything else. Some group shots: The Barbarian Chief from the recent Gnickstarter: The Trap Expert and Tunnel Fighter from the same source: Some random terrain or Treasure Tokens made from old Warhammer standards: A Bard (Reaper Miniatures) A rather sinister Apothecary, who started life as a Plague Doctor from Reaper's "Pathfinder" line: A bandit test mini, made from the Frostgrave Cultists and Warlord Celts: A Wolf/Dog (Frostgrave official again) An Imp, via Mantic: A group of Harad Abrakhan Guard from the GW LotR line, who are intended as heavies for an Arabian Nights themed warband:

In addition to the new releases, I had ordered another box of Cultists to my Gnickstarter order. I figured it would be good to build some of the new Soldier types. The Cult: A Crowmaster, with the addition of a Mage Knight's severed arm: A Tunnel Fighter: A Treasure Hunter: Some Knightly types (or at least guys with shields: A Thief: A Javelineer, with arms from the Fireforge Mongols and a spear from...somewhere?

So, I realized something about my Frostgrave collection: it's lacking painted Wizards! Something I could easily fix. After the "Into the Breeding Pits" Gnickstarter came in, I scoured my collection for appropriate arcane types. Most had been sitting in boxes unloved for some time. My hope is to be able to run demos with these additions representing various schools. First, the gathering of Schools: A Necromancer Wizard (Reaper Miniatures Darkrasp) His Apprentice (Mage Knight) A Thaumaturge, a Reaper miniature picked up many moons ago for use in D&D 4E's "Revenge of the Giants" game. A Warmage from the old Chainmail line of D&D minis, who I think seems best suited to be an Elementalist: A Summoner from Reaper Bones: A Soothsayer also from Reaper Bones: A Wizard from the Warcrow range, who may instead see use as an Apothecary in the planned Arabian Nights style warband: An Elven Mage, who was also painted when I realize I didn't have any painted Elf Mages for a recent one-shot D&D game (Reaper Bones again) A Heresy Miniatures Wizard, who had his staff lost to the winds of time and replaced with a Warhammer Elven Blade: And last, some of the actual Frostgrave line from Northstar Miniatures. An Elementalist Apprentice: And the set of Beastcrafters:
