Here's to our old pal, Frankenstein! That is to say, the doctor of that name and his creation, both of whom debuted in Mary Shelley's famous novel... published January 1, 1818. "Look so good when two hundred YOU are, YOU shall NOT!"

Hey all. Usually LastKnight kicks this off, but I need writing buddies to keep me on track this year and force me to use all my free time to write! So,for all those interested in participating, head on over to the NanNo website and sign up or create a new novel. Feel free to friend me! I'm Corporea over there as well. We can use this thread to complain about our absent muse, life interfering with writing or any other assorted chitchat. Let's make all our words awesome together! I solemnly swear to avoid editing for one month!!!

I just finished reading Warlord Rising by Michales Joy and man, was it a fun read. I admit it's not the deepest fantasy novel I've ever read, but if you love Warlord and want to delve into an adventure in that setting I highly recommend the book. The author incorporates all 10 Taltos factions and even hints at some of the factions from Northern Adon. I a real sucker for fluff and you really get to see the relationships the factions have with each other. I think I might even start a Savage Worlds campaign in the Taltos setting. Has anyone else read the book and what are your thoughts without giving any spoilers out for those who might want to pick it up.
