I've bought everything this company has put out so far. I'll probably pick up these two as well. Really great figures based on classic artwork. These two are both nude, so I can't show pictures here! These 80 mm scale figures, in limited edition, will all come from realistic and oriental paintings of great painters of the nineteenth, a period that we greatly love. During the fourth campaign "The muses", we had suggested that you submit ideas for the next muses. A vote had then been put in place to decide between the 27 muses that you had selected. One muse dominated this vote: "La boîte à bijoux" painted by Guillaume Seignac. To accompany it, a second muse has been chosen on the same theme: "human skin on animal skin". You will discover it below, hoping she inspires you! :) During the third Muses campaign, we produced the magnificent Lady Godiva painted by John Collier, a famous English painter and one of the founders of the Royal Society of Portrait Painters. Here is another of his works: "Lilith" painted in 1889. Lilith is a mythical Hebrew and Biblical figure (Adam's first wife), whom some see as the very first portrayal of feminism in history.

It's from Kabuki 1/6 scale. Since she's a Not Red Sonja, I gave her warpaint like Conan has. I tried a freehand tattoo, it's supposed to be a stylized Dragon/Snake eating his own tail. Magically Distracted She sat on her favorite stool, having gotten mostly undressed and relaxed, gently swirling the goblet of red wine in her hand as she read through the grimore in her lap... closing her eyes she gently concentrated on the spell that was before her... suddenly the books piled around her lifted up in the air as if they had minds of their own and were caught in a small windstorm. She giggled to herself and took another long drink of the wine from her goblet and continued to study... --------------------- This was a really fun project that I started up in April of this year. My goal was to get her done in time for the 'eavier metal online contest (Facebook) and see if I could place or perhaps get a random draw. I ended up uploading her about 10 minutes late, so I have no idea at the time of doing this post if she will be considered in the contest or if she will be disqualified. Either way, I had fun, I had tons of amazing feedback during the WIP and a lot of people cheering me on to get it finished. I present to you "Magically Distracted" a NSFW Kingdom Death figure in the 54mm scale, she is a limited edition resin release. Please feel free to give your comments and critiques. I'm going to check and see if I am allowed to bring a nude figure to ReaperCon this year for entry into their painters contest or not. If not, she'll stay home as I do have plenty of other things to enter as well. A few firsts on this one, I did some elaborate tattoos, magical floating books, writing in books in freehand, a completely nude figure, texturing pattern, Venus dimples, and last but not least sheer stockings (which were a lot of fun and a lot of work!). This is a conversion of Hasslefree's Gen. I had pictured a mini sitting on a stone looking into a pond which sent me on a search that ended with Gen. Her pose was perfect for what I wanted and when thinking of exactly what to do, my mind went to the Blue Fairy. Blue for color as well as mood. So the conversion to her was that I removed her horns and knife, added wings, and added the leaves and flowers to her hair. She received a silver medal in the Open category at ReaperCon. The main feedback I received was I need better directional shading on the base, the way I painted her wings make them harder than the rest of the paint job (should have gone with a butterfly pattern which I planned on but ran out of time), and I need to up the difficulty in my conversions. This was done for a fun competition where you were supposed to recreate an album cover with miniatures. I chose the Army of Darkness Official Soundtrack. It uses the same art as the Movie. :) All I can post here is a WIP, pic. Another project I'm going to slowly nibble away at, when I'm in the mood. Due to her bare boobies, most of the piccys on this one will have to be linked off-site, but it should still make for an interesting WIP. http://imgur.com/ngQTQQN So far she's been assembled and I'm waiting for a bit of green stuff work to dry. Super impressed by the casting, virtually no moldlines, only one bubble and most pieces fitting together seamlessly (there were minor gaps on her human arms), it's my new benchmark for what a good resin mini should be like. Next job will be to get her primed and then start on her skin (without using my Fleshshade Wash, the horror!).

Here is a completed Xanthia Skyclad, from Hasslefree Miniatures. She's standing on a base from Micro Arts Studios (in their forest collection, the wround 30mm group). Photos linked for nudity. I gave her two small tattoos -- a triskelion on the right shoulder, and a band around her right ankle. Those I just drew on using a .005 Micron pen with archival blue ink, on the base coat, and then covered them over with multiple very thin layers of flesh tones. This is the first time I've attempted a tattoo, and I'm generally pleased, though they came out perhaps a tad understated. Also they didn't photograph very well, I'm afraid. As is often the case, the mini is nicer in hand than on screen. This is a birthday gift for a player in my group, who came up with a druid so devoted to nature that she refuses to wear clothing. The player's birthday isn't till June, but once I got started, I just wanted to get the figure done.
