Hello forum family, my last fatigue was one of the Living Statue (Bronze one), but I chose to paint her like a living human heroine. This was a challenge, but a great opportunity to training my NMM and skin technics: the model is really curvy and the lack of edges make it really hard to bland the skin. Pictures cropped for nudity. For uncensored results, see here. Although I don't think Mariliths are poisonous, I decided to paint her with coral snake colors, which was a bit tricky to get right.

This is another I did again apologies this one had no top one either. It's not a personal preference in figures its just I got a bunch of reaper minis on ebay as a starting point for the hobby and there were some doubles of several figures so I started on them first. Please do not look if nudity offends ( or the painting ! :0) )

Here is one I did last week and I thought I would put it on here, I searched around at other attempts at it and decided to have a stab at it. I don't know if I should have censored this because her top half is naked but I did see that it looks like the moderator removes the image if it is not okay. Apologies if there is any offence. I found this figure really hard to do as there was lots going on with bangles and arms plus I have no idea how to do scales. I have next to no idea about highlighting as you can tell and I am just learning through trial and error so here goes. ( oh and the face got too much for me in the end as it this stage in my painting eyes are virtually impossible ! :) )

This will be the leader of my band of snake women and medusae. It's a quickie tabletop paint job because the Bones casting isn't great but I used the opportunity to practice some NMM on the weapons. Head shot: Link for nudity: Rear view:

For your consideration: Reaper Bones miniature Female Anti-Paladin. It wasn't until I started on my idea for the shield that I realized that *it* was the Main Character. Not exactly a daemon-possessed sword, but a symbiotic relationship none-the-less. Extravagant tone with bright, decadent colors. She-Hulk for the hair. Massive Voodoo for the dots. (More dots!) My cat Zen for the eyes. (He's a Tom.) Lots of non-textured areas to tell a story. Great player character or reoccurring NPC. A lesson of extreme - in Color and form. The armor was protective but the clothing was tattered like a torn mesh bodysuit. Heavy straps encircled limbs and the armored boots formed like hooves. Toothy maw adornment on the armor hints at hunger. A very introspective Pin-Up. I hope you enjoy. :)

This character comes in two versions. I already painted the nice one. This is her evil, medusa headed version. I also experimented with very pale skin, using Spectral White and Lavender. That mop in her right hand is the wig that the other model wears to cover her snakes. Link to NSFW image.

As I've been creating my own set of Chibi Kingdom Death minis, I've found that some of the monsters have such bizarre proportions that there's no need to convert them into chibis. Overall, my approach is to have the minis become less distorted and cute as they get larger (the way that Final Fantsy, Pokemon and Super Dungeon Explore do things). So, a lot of the very large monsters don't need to be altered. Instead, I try to paint them in vibrant colors that really let them pop out. I also create the bases using chibi faces rather than the normal ones. So, here is my Sunstalke. I've gone back and forth about starting this thread since I started painting these last April. Shaerileth and the female spider-centaur are topless, so I need to link pictures owing to nudity. But heck, I guess talking about how I'm painting them can help people so I'm giving it a go anyway. The male spider-centaurs, faces, and backs will be shown. Any front female torsos will be linked to, as per Reaper's forum policy. So anyhow, these are Bones plastic, so fairly lightweight. Wanting to paint a bust for a long time, never had the nerve. In order to participate in the 54mm Challenge I decided to do a bust too. Kabuki Miniatures: 1/6 scale KY-RA ( a NOT Red Sonja). I will link the nude shots,since one of her breasts peeks through the armor. I have cut up an old plaster base for her.

I painted this Reaper Bones harpy as a quick fun mini for gaming. Hence no fancy base, and very simple metals, etc. I didn't even carve off the mold lines (though I probably should have done at least that!) She's topless, so here's a link to more photos on my website.

These guys are ultra small, but the thing is, they're sculpted as if they were full size! Just an amazing job by Ridolfi here on these pieces. Makes me want to grab up all the familiars! So tiny, so cute! I would love an entire line of minis at this scale, as long as they were all sculpted with such features and skill as these, I mean just look at the body/face/hair of that little wingless succubus, can't believe how small she is!
