  1. I picked this up ages ago at a wargames fair I think from the Bring and Buy. No idea what the original story was - the blocks under the skulls each have a rune or a Roman numeral but I don't think the runes are from the same alphabet...and the helmet in the ashes is Greek. The cauldron though battered has the remains of raised decoration. But it is quite a fabulous piece and as a bonus the two parts can be used separately... Not sure what the hill giants have seasoned their Man-Stew with to get it that colour. I decided that they have come across the self-heating skulls artifact and used it. These Hill Giants I painted a few years ago have Neolithic tastes ( jewellery and tattoos) but have obviously raided a castle somewhere and adapted tapestries etc to wear. Slaine is a standard 28mm figure for scale....
