  1. An old miniature that I recently repainted with Reaper paints. Grenadier Models, 1984, M-34 Frost Giant
  2. So I was directed to this thread yesterday: http://forum.reapermini.com/index.php?/topic/45426-doc-is-old/ Doc may be old, but I might have him beat by a couple of years. I thought I might go ahead and post some various bits and pieces from my fantasy collection, as the mood strikes me. To give you an idea of how old I am, I first encountered wargaming with miniatures (with rules) in 1971. I was occasionally buying issues of the British magazine Military Modelling when Minifigs released the ME range of fantasy figures, and probably bought my first examples of those in 1974. The oldest units in my fantasy armies are staffed with Der Kriegspielers Fantastiques... Well, oops...is this not one of the board sections that allows pictures to be posted?
  3. A recent eBay lot had a heap of early Heritage figures, which will be going into my vintage miniatures games for next years' conventions. There's not a lot to some of these early figures, so I kept it simple.
  4. After all the posting about old miniatures, I'm working on a few. I've gotten used to working on Heroic 28mm, or whatever we're calling it these days, so putting something nicer on a true 25 is going to take a little more practice... The Bones Kobold is on my desk, and I threw him in for a sense of scale.
