This is an old school mini from the German rpg Das Schwarze Auge, 15500b: Female Sorcerer. I found it on the Ral Partha Europe website. WIP (incomplete) here. I'm rather pleased with how the light refraction and reflection effects on her orb turned out.

Good friday everyone. It's the second time I paint this model. I got it from a friend after painting the first one, it's such a nice and fun model to paint, I decided it was now time to lay some color on it. I use this guy as a NPC in the DnD games I'm hosting. See the last pictures for comparison. I realise now that the familiar neck is bended bad, it looks like it's grooming its scales. So here it is, 02700, Tox the Wizard sculpted by Sandy Garrity.

Here are the mouseling druid and beekeeper. The beekeeper will eventually go in a diorama once I get it finished. These were fun to paint and pretty quick. The beekeeper is the mini for the Reaper Facebook Quarterly Contest. Since I am not entering, I can show mine! I was going to do a green cloak on the druid but he reminded me so much of an Ewok....well, you see what happened. They are adorable!

Man I have really been slacking on getting these minis posted. Last one for tonight, I promise. Enjoy edit: So I have to admit I got a little exited playing with new toys last night and rushed the picture process. But I just wasn't happy with how dark they turned out. After another read through of the Miniatures Photography 101 I think I did a much better job today. Now You can see all the detail good and bad! Still my favorite. Any tips on painting orbs?

Tried to make it look like she just drank someone's blood and us now performing a ritual which is causing the ground to shift.
