  1. Here's the last mini painted for the day, a Rust Monster (or Oxidation Beast, as it's called in Reaper's catalogue).
  2. Not sure this is the most logical grouping of photos, but I'm trying to not flood the board with a topic for each mini since I take pics in big batches. Oxidation Beast Stone Golem Clay Golem Hell Hound
  3. After 14 months of not touching a brush it feels good to finally be posting some work. Per usual, I just couldn't help myself with respect to color. I was torn between going muted palate to emphasize the 'underdark' nature of the creature, but then my love of color kicked in.... Please be gentle as I'm a bit rusty.
  4. Here's another few quickies, my oxidation beasts! I call them Ol' rusty and Oxide: Bases are miliput sculpted to look sort of rock like. I also took some spare shields and weapons from a sprue of super cheap plastic guys I got on ebay a while back (Zvezda stuff). Cut those up a bit and added some sand mixed with brown paint for a rusty look. My light box definitely needs a bit more light as I can see stuff ends up in shade even now, but it's not as bad as before.
