I've been a fan of Liz and David's DreamKeepers comics for a long time. And who can fault me? Wonderful story, great graphics. I think I'll let the pictures speak for themselves... https://www.indiegogo.com/projects/dreamkeepers-prelude-collection-2/x/10803452 Not afficiated with them, just owns the first Prelude collection and all 5(currently printed) volumes of the main story.

At the moment I'm not exactly starved for projects (I've actually got a long list taped to my desk), but what I really wanted was something quick and easy. Luckily one of the projects on that list fit the bill perfectly so my third Imperial Guard joke squad has started. Unlike my "Fabulous" squad or even my Tau defectors this is a more nuanced joke. Instead of painting battle hardened Cadiens I'll be painting a squad of the Planetary Defense Force. GW lore is a funny thing whenever comparisons are made as any player can tell you. So while the Imperial Guard especially the Cadiens are "elite" warriors completely at home on the battlefield the Planetary Defense Forces are easily killed cannon fodder living the cushy good life on Imperial worlds. The PDF act as peacekeepers and the first line of defense during any attack and they usually end up dying in droves (not unlike the actual Guard). The only real difference at least on the actual tabletop will come down to color scheme. I've decided a peacekeeper's color scheme would work well and I've come up with two options. I think I prefer the blue tunic with the grey armor, but the reverse could work too. I figure I'll just sleep on it and decide tomorrow with fresh eyes, but I'm open to any thoughts/ideas.

I created a single scenario mission for low level rangers based on the "The Dungeon" books from Loke Battlemats. Since here are some rosd players and backers of that kickstarter I thought I'd share it. No clue how large the overlap is. Anyhow, C&C welcome, reports of how it went also. I played it with two players (GF and I). We had a close, but successful, mission with level 0 and level 1 rangers. I would say tough adventure, and mid level ranger around level 5 might also be fine. Traveling Encounters volume 1 Compelling 5th Edition Challenges For CR1 to CR5 This small project is to fund a collection of little encounters that can be dropped into an existing adventure for low level adventurers. I backed his previous project for alternate character backgrounds, and he delivered the PDFs early.

I got my Book today! Woot. Comparing it to the CAV: SO preview PDF I see that the book went through some MAJOR rethinking. //Graphic design is much better by the way. // So now, what about a PDF version? Thoughts? Plans? Will come free for KS backers?
