  1. Good day everyone, now that the contest is over, here are some pictures of entry in Reaper's Painting Contest #8. Congrats to the winners and all those who participated. I can't wait to see the next model selection. The model is 77364, Angel of Shadows and it's mounted on a 77247, Pillar of Evil both sculpted by Sandra Garrity. The last picture was my entry in the contest, I managed to finish second. I entitled my entry the Angel of Hope.   2. The Pillar of Evil! Should be a fun terrain piece for a wargame or RPG... This was painted in the "Cavern Stone" triad from GameDecor's PaintWorks line of terrain paint, then washed with Army Painter green tone ink. Pretty quick and simple. The base is a 1" square Hirst Art's tile done with the same paints, part of a grab bag of tiles Bonwirn gave me a couple Secret Sophies ago.

Lets make this interesting - challenge your self and use only blue, black, white and red (ONLY) challenge your color mixing abilities. and this means Only 1 bottle of each color, not multi bottles of various reds / blues etc... Now I am the type that buys their paint in 'Triads" long before Reaper started selling them that way, as I like having the same color to go back to when
