This is all mostly Glitterwolf's fault....mostly... His Painting the Pandemic Challenge was the excuse I've been waiting for to tackle Reaper's Four Horsemen. I first saw them at Leisure Hours Hobbies in Plainfield back when I was first getting started in the hobby, and they were one of those "I'll eventually get these", things since they kinda fit in with my undead army, but I was concentrating more on units at the time...anyway, combining with the recent events of the year, I've been tempted by the idea of going back to the start of the DHL line and painting my way forward. Thus the birth of yet another WIP thead. We begin with 02001 Reaper Famine. Other than priming, haven't done anything with the rider yet. As Buglips noted in his WIP, trying to figure out what is skin/bone/fleshy bits was a bit confusing. The skin is Ghoul Skin, bone is Dirty Bone, and fleshy meat bits and organs are Red Gore. Steel Legion Drab on the base, and began putting Rotting Wood on the harness and saddle.

Okay people, we have a pandemic on our hands, we're all affected by it in some way. I hereby put out a challenge to all of you: Paint a mini, build a diorama, print a 3D print, draw something, whatever you feel like that has to do with either the current pandemic or an earlier plague/disaster. You could go realistic or fantasy/scifi/ pulp style. Make it a tribute to those who fight the virus or show the horrors of a plague in a medieval setting. It's up to you Examples: Medical Staff Empty street diorama People in hazmat suits Police/firefighters People in lockdown Hoarders/looters Plague victims Plague doctors No rewards here, just for the sake of creativity. If you can't paint right now but have a suitable piece to show you did earlier, post it. Stay Safe, Stay Healthy, let's try to at least fight the loniless and fear by being creative with it. Post as many stuff as you like. No rules only that it has to has something to do with a pandemic/plague/ disaster from your point of view.

I need to hone my P2e GM skills so I'd like to offer up a pbp for The Fall of Plaguestone! Looking for 4 players for a daily/weekly, depending on the game flow. Character creation is the following: Standard creation from the 2e Core Hardback. 1st level (Obviously this means, you need to own the hardback or pdf, thou there is the site Archives of Nethys srd site (just make sure the 2e wording is the BOLD selected) thou I haven't really looked into that site, so I'm not totally sure full character creation is up on there). While this is not the Adventure Path, the adventure does have backgrounds that tie in the characters with the adventure. If you'd like one of these background please post & I'll get a PM to you. Also if we get going & the Lost Omens Character Guide comes out, I will allow the 3 new races that are featured in that book (Hobgoblin, Leshy & Lizardfolk), you can just swap out your existing character without any penalties.

Started quite some time ago, before the more copyright-friendly Poxwalkers were introduced; here come the Plague Zombies! It's okay that they're different, Grandfather Nurgle loves us all. Plus, Zombies seem more appropriate for Halloween.

Finished these gross guys for my pathfinder campaign. I like the GW blood for the blood god technical paint look for weeping sores.

So started a bit of work on these two, since they're using the same colors as my Kraken. Going for a mangy, nearly-hairless, nasty look Thinking yellow or green-yellow for the boils

As I looked through my Shelf of Ancestral Shame, I noticed a really interesting looking rat sculpt. Given I had just finished the Barrow Rat from L2PK1, and also the pack of Bone Rats, I figured I'd paint it up along with two less awesome looking rats from the SAS and basically have a squeaking wave of terror ready to descend on my players. Once I actually get around to getting some players. Mental note - minions before twisted acts of artistic science next time! Anyways, here you go: my rat pack. I apologise in advance for my ghetto photography skills. If anyone knows the providence of the plague rat (I think it's a Grenadier sculpt from the late 70s or the early 80s) could you let me know?
