I'm pleased to announce my acting debut in the excellent Vast Horizon podcast. I have a small role in episode 2 of season 2. It's a serial scifi audio drama, with immersive sound design -headphones are recommend. Starting at the beginning is also recommended. You can find it and more podcasts (Dark Dice, White Vault, Liberty- actual play and audio dramas, sometimes both) by Fool & Scholar Productions on their patreon or various websites (the libsyn addresses will give you the basics).

I recently discovered that I really liked listening to D&D games being played while painting. I watched/listened to a few videos with Matt Mercer DMing some really cool games. What podcasts/videos do you all like to watch/listen to?

New rthread for a new month. I'm still determined to clear my painting queue this year and doing these WIP and getting C&C from everyone really motivates me to keep pushing through. So on to the fun. I was stuck for a few days deciding what to start with so I grabbed a few bones from my collection to get my gears going. First up is Goldar. I had started this guy a while ago in metal but lost motivation after his axe snapped and I had a difficult time keeping it reattached. But I've always been fond of the figure and thought it had a lot of character. I did take some WIP pics but they were super blurry since I'm still taking photos with my iPhone, so here is where he stands now. The next figure is from bones 2 heroes and villains option i think, the female spartan. Started with the reds this time since I tend to have issues blending it the way I like consistently. I think I'll be painting the armor silver with some antique gold highlights and I'm not sure about the stone yet. Maybe an earth tone? As always C&C welcomed and appreciated.

So awhile it was discussed that there should be some sort of official podcast. The Reaper folks are busy doing what we love, so I took it upon myself to make a fan podcast. The good news, is soon it will be in line with my expectations. If anyone hadn't heard and wants to check it out, the link is here. There is a little bit of a balancing issue with my new theme (which I was willing to pay for) in episode 2, but it's improving all the time. If anyone was wondering, the second episode actually covers the storage solutions I mentioned but never fully explained. Hope you enjoy it, and you can send me a PM if you have comments or there is some content you'd like me to cover.

So I sat here wondering a bit ago, and I seem to recall asking way back when, but has there ever been any possibility of a Reaper podcast? Maybe somebody out the in Reaperland who would talk about all thing Reaper, interviews with painters, sculptors, ReaperCon, et cetera. The idea resurfaced after watching the two videos showing how minis are spun and cast. Weekly, monthly , annually? Anyhoos, just wondering.....
