  1. Painted these 2 ladies from the Blacklist Miniatures Fantasy Series 1 Kickstarter earlier this year. Wanted to paint a few of the character minis to see how they would turn out, and I am happy with them both. Here are the female elf monk and the female human paladin.
  2. Hello everyone, here are pictures of the forth and last mini I entered in the Pathfinder painting contest. 60118, Order of the Pyre's Hellknight sculpted by Bobby Jackson. This time, the colors I selected are completely different from the display model of the Online store. I hope you will enjoy it.
  3. Classic Reaper Miniatures 02014, Skeleton Halberdier Dark Heaven Legends sculpted by Ed Pugh.
  4. Been trying to do so much. Get back into woodworking/pipe making, both kids have baseball, son has scouts, and I've been wanting to paint some more. So here is a figure I started a while back. I didn't take any before pics but I started to repaint the old areas I had painted.
  5. Greetings everyone! First of all I am so sorry If I create this topic in wrong place. So I'm kindly asking your forgiveness. Other than that, as the title says, I need suggestion help ladies and gentlemen. I am looking for a miniature figure, and this will be my very first tabletop FRP miniature which I'm going to buy for a current game, (Curse of Strahd, 5 edition D&D) But I couldn't find what I'm exactly looking for. My character is going to be a noble knight, an Oath of Vengeance Paladin in his prime. So I found some miniatures but it's not what I'm looking for. (14508) Vernone, Ivy Crown Captain (03324) Stern Kestrelmann, Paladin Hero (03348) Quinn Nolan, Heroic Warrior (03715) Erick, Paladin Initiate So I found them, but only one of them doesn't have a shield in his hands. I'm looking for to use some polearm mainly, and a greatsword alternatively. <TS: Edited for Commerce link> So as you can see up there, I'm looking for a medieval, heroic, plate wearer knight with a halberd, polearm or a sword without shield (or shield can be worn on side) Please help me with some suggestions! Thank you all!
  6. I snipped this guy's spear and made it into crude poleaxe to lend some variety to the mooks. I wanted it to look crude.
  7. Hosilla from Reaper's Pathfinder miniature line. Or the curious case of the miniature that looks better in the pictures than in real life! I painted this some while ago (last august) to be a stand in for Talis, a villain in the Horde of the Dragon Queen DnD adventure. I was rather pleased with the result except for how the face turned out. I think it looks similar to those "doll faces" that you see on the Wizkid produced prepainted DnD and Pathfinder miniatures. Strangly enough that doesn't show up in the photo. So this is the first miniature I've painted where the photo is better than the actual result :D
  8. Excited & nervous about my very first post in Show-Off (I hope I'm doing this right!) I bought several nice backdrops from the Hangar 18 vendor booth at ReaperCon and while I'm still working on proper lighting, I'm finally able to take some decent photos of my beloved Reaper minis. May I formally introduce Lord Ironraven-- a nice ol' chap who sat patiently on the "Shelf of Shame" for over two years before I made one of my first official attempts at shaded metallics and silk fabric (after several practice rounds). I attempted to paint some "freehand" jewels on the crosses on his shoulder pauldrons, and this was one of my very first attempts at black hair (now that I've had a bit more practice, I see that the highlights may be too blue). While there's an old work in progress thread (and I mean old ~July 2014) floating on the WIP forums, I'm happy to report that he's finally well-photographed and presentable for the forums. Thanks for checking him out! Lord Ironraven · Sculpted by Werner Klocke · Reaper Miniature #14005
  9. Mr. Moleman, dig me a hole... Sculpts by Jason Wiebe. The magic user: The polearm guard: The spear guard (painted by a friend):
