I thought my post-zombie apoc town could do with a charity shop. Dogs Trust is a real charity, and the building's colours are based on the store in the English town where I used to live.

Building by Atomic Laser Cut Designs, painted as a local newspaper office. It's for my post-apoc zombie setup. Painted with texture spray paint, craft paint, Vallejo and Citadel acrylics.

The name and colours are from a real French cafe I used to go to in CA. I added a bedsheet rope made from PVA-soaked paper towel to one of the windows and a zombie trapped inside the building.

I made this piece of scenery for whenever I get around to playing some kind of zombie game. It's just foamboard, dowels and coffee stirrers. The image was downloaded, printed, stuck on, and then ruined with lots of washes and the blunt edge of an X-acto knife (Quatro was a soft drink sold in the UK in the 80s; I wanted a bit of a retro look). I added some random graffiti to the back. It was mainly painted with cheap craft paints. The junk on the base is by Reaper, TTCombat and Debris of War, as well as a couple of stones from my drive.

A warrior woman of the wastelands, the mohawked Dez is a formidable figure. Where does she even get hair color and makeup in the Irradiated Zones? She's not telling, other than to say "If it was easy, I'd send a man to do it." Also, she's a deadly shot with a wrist crossbow. More pix: Here she is with a few of her pals (Wasteland Maelee, also Bombshell, and a Crooked Dice survivor). More than a match for the average mutant horror. and a credible threat even to above-average horrors!

Desiree Dark, from the RAFM line of Modern Heroes. This is the second time I have painted her, and I wanted to go dark, but not all black. Experimented with some rich purple and deep blue, and new metallics. She'll make a good vampire hunter or cultist bounty hunter.

Finally got around to finishing this guy. Apologies for the potato pic, but a friend has borrowed my camera for an indeterminate amount of time so it's phone camera to the rescue! I really like these Future Skirmish minis, there's a lot of character in all of the sculpts and they're pretty cheap, too. I painted the base to match the other savage that I've done, but this guy has a lot more colour on him than the previous one. I thought I was going to do them all in drab, neutral tones but a bit of bright colour looks quite cool, I might keep it going on the rest of them. New pics!
