Being the closest thing the Borderlands have to Doctors, a Potion Maker is one of the most well respected professions going and travelling with one guarantees you entry into all but the most paranoid and insular settlements. But all that respect and esteem comes with a downside, when the cost of most of your ingredients can be measured in human lives, the pressure to always make the right decisions is immense and most folks that take up the trade burn out long before their apprenticeship is over.
