I started this little guy some years ago, but then I got stuck and he just set on my shelf of shame and stared at me (I had already painted the eyes). Now I finally finished him, so it's a collaboration of Younger Samedi and Not-So-Young-Anymore-Samedi. Funny thing is, I have no idea what colours Young Samedi used, I just remember mixing some greens and browns together for the skin. And of course my all-time favourite metallic: The copper of the old Reaper Pro Paint series. Young Samedi was a keyboard player, that's why he liked this mini so much - I mean, how many minis of keyboard players are there? Not-So-Young-Anymore-Samedi plays keyboard only very sporadically. But at least he finishes his painting projects now and then... So enjoy, C&C very welcome, as always!

Hi guys, so finished this one a few days ago and he's been sent to his final home, a commission figure I was asked to do. The figure itself is pretty neat, I'd never painted any Rackham figures before so it was something fun and different. I think I can see a bit the joy of commissions for other people because you never know what you are going to receive. Anyhow, here he is, hope you enjoy him!

My first mini painted in 2017. Actually, it's another long time WIP of mine, I'm happy to see it finished. The snakeman is from Mierce Miniatures and it surely has a weird name, Sss'ths'pfff or something like that (seriously though, it's Vilthiss, Champion of Khthon). Yes, I know it has no proper base, but that's beacause it will be (hopefully) part of a bigger project under the working title of Beastmen of Dark Forest. ​Oh, if the forum made the pic too small, try my FB page (link in the signature), like and share ;)

I finally was able to get the time and - quite frankly - the painting bug biting me to get this done for Jasper the 2nd, who won my Artist page 500 likes random contest drawing. This is the figure he picked out of my collection and I'm going to mail him out this week. It's a Forge Guardian from Rackham Confrontation, dwarf of Tir-Na-Bor. Metal figure, at 28mm scale. It was actually quite fun to paint up. The base is a pre-made base that I painted to be a stained/rusted metallic from the old Stonehaven Dwarves kickstarter. Anyhow, C&C are welcomed and greatly appreciated, thanks for looking!

Hi, they wait three years for painting. When I started miniature painting i fell in love with rackham miniatures but I thought I was not enough skilled to paint them. Now I think I am:). I want to make a freehand on shields of last two skorize warriors but I have to rest a while. Making bases was super fun. All comments are welcome.

I really love making minis for our RPG group- and here is a party for one of our campaigns. The group consisted of three trollkin and a farrow (who might have been a trollkin in a previous life- or maybe the next one). Only the first one has no conversion elements. The one with the fell blades was a Fell Caller with Doomreaver levels. Overall, I feel that this was one of our poorer intelligence parties- it was kind of a surprise that they ever got much done.

I started this figure in 2009 and got frustrated with it. The colors just weren't working. I set it aside and came back to it occasionally with different colors. Finally got something I'm happy with. She has the tiniest freaking eyes I've ever worked with. I'm glad I did not ruin the face repainting it so many times.

Buenos dias, greetings and salutations fellow reaperites. I am starting a wip for various reasons. I am trying to motivate myself to complete a few more lead/bone dollies. I hope to continue updating this as I make progress. Feedback of any kind will be greatly appreciated. Even the harshest critics. But you guys are an awesome bunch. For starters I am half way done on this Warg. Sculpted by Jason Weibe and in the bones material. I am attempting to make the warg appear if he is prowling on a moon lit nite. The shadows are a blue paint I can not recollect off the top of my head. Up next is the hell hound. The sculptor is Ben Siens and the material is bones. I am trying to give him a battle worn appearance. To give him that appearance I have painted on faint scars. Now how to improve them and give them depth is a condrum. The next one I have up to finish is a mind eater. The sculptor is Patrick Keith and another bones miniature. The mind eater is an experiment using various mediums. I am also using him to work on different forms of shading techniques. And here is two different kroids. Sculpted by Gene Van Horn and in pewter. The details are amazing. I am trying to figure out the right zombie color I want for the kroid sniper. And finally an oop rackham figure. I really like the sculpt and had bigger plans that I had to scale way back due to reality. I originally envisoned his skulls to be painted asgalaxys and a cosmic scene in the back ground. My talent is not up to par yet. Thank you for viewing. And yep, need to work on editing and pic taking more.

Hi, I have strong statement to end dozen of unfished projects, here its first, from old rackham beautiful miniatures. i made two photos from greater distance and i think they are sharper

This is a diorama I made in 2002. The quality of the painting is not as good as I can do now, but I am still happy with it. The ladies are from Rackham and the beholder is from Ral Partha. The floor and wall were made with hirsts arts blocks.

Hi, I made my first pack of rakcham dwarfs (I had great luck and bought 70 units of midnor...:):):), now i have complete faction). Most fun in this project was making crystal bases. I made crystals from plasticard and pavement from gypsum. All comments are welcome:)

This is the second exchange mini I did for terminalmancer. He wanted something unusual, so I found an old Rackham mini in my stash. I used the orignal artwork as a guide and added a larger base. Also altered his stance a bit so he did not lean so far forward. He is quite big and I am happy how he turned out.

I present the Rackham Inquisitor Griffin 1. I painted this guy a while back.. Before I started trolling these forums... before KS1... He was for a DND character that was Fighter/Barbarian/Pious Templar of Kord. I tried to follow the "Factory" paint job, but realized too quickly it is hard to blend white armor and make it look good. So I ended up just lining it with Gray. It's relatively sloppy. I sculpted the floor he's standing on with Green Stuff. The skulls were part of the sculpt. Paints were Vallejo Game Color He should be suitable for my Rise of the Runelords PBP 2-H Fighter.

I painted this guy up just a little while ago to be a mighty Dwarf Alchemist in our Iron Kingdoms campaign. He wears the mask in public quite a bit, but I suppose you would too if you were packing as many chemicals as this guy.

Hi Ive just finished scarecrow from rackham. Its one of the most intersting sculpts i have ever seen. Tommorow i will post better pictures in daylight. Comments are welcome AS always.

Another on of my real oldies. Tried an albino look on this one. French company Rackham made these for their Confrontation line. Great minis, now oop, replaced by low quality plastics before the company crumbled.

Hi, I made my first freehand, and im very proud of it! Mini is not finished but im so happy because of painting that i need to share. Maybe somebody has idea for base for him? I have to do his mask, face and boots and swords.

I would like to thank slender troll on my other wip for the advice of a simple photobackdrop. It along with mastering more of my camera will eventually lead me to better results. Today has been one of those near perfect modeling days. So many triumphs outweighed the few negatives. I have been plugging away at making progress while having fun. I had a few to many eureka moments which also led to a knife accident. The first change of many was to utilize new techniques. The last time I had used a diy water pallet left me unpleased. I tried again with much better results. I boiled the parchment paper first then used wet paper towels instead of a sponge. Doing prep work on the minis led me to correctly use a sharpening stone and then promptly slicing my finger. Not bad. It was sharp. And then instead of using water I used water with a few drops of soap in an empty eye drop bottle. I also prepared the surface in a much thorough manner. For those of you hampered by taking notes in the midst of creating art I recommend using your voice recorder on your phone. Quick simple notes then write them down after the session. Well here is a photo of a csm done in huron blackheart army scheme. Tomorrow I will attempt to finish two bones from prep to finish and have them posted in the show off section. I am quite pleased with the smooth paint job and minimal paint strokes. All I need left are two more lamps for the best photos possible. Gracias t-d
