  1. Wait, D&D doesn't stand for Demons, Demons, and More Demons: The Party's Screwed? Two lovely to paint fellows from Bones 2 were finished last night, the Fire Demon/Balor and the Minotaur Demon Lord. I tried to do both up to also fit in a Khorne demon army.
  2. Just in time for Pumpkin Spice EVERYTHING to invade the world, we have some Pumpkin Horrors. Sadly, Rotpatch, my favorite of this theme, keeps being sold out whenever I pick up minis recently. Perhaps by Halloween he will join the harvest (of HORROR!)
  3. Those nasty critters from underground who may die of exhaustion during a charge, here comes the Kobolds: The grunts are converted from the multi-pack, Champion Floppymace and the Sorcerer are as-is:
  4. I just finished up on this one, I did it as a small commission and favor for one of my D&D buddies who will use this particular figure for his Tuesday night games. Slight modification with a weapon head swap from the original earth breaker to the axe head. Painted it up in about 5-6 hours today, I call it table top+ as there are some things on here beyond a normal tabletop job and I wanted to get it done fairly quickly. Name: Shoanti Barbarian Manufacturer: Reaper Miniatures SKU: 60115 Sculpted by: Gene Van Horne Material: Metal WIP Thread C&C are welcomed and appreciated! His face close-up, it's hideous!
  5. Today, I'm going to try to get this guy painted up. I have the entire day/evening to do so and I need to get it done before Saturday so I can give it to one of my D&D buddies who is going to use it as a PC in another game (a small commission and I'm giving him a discount as a friend). He's requested it be a bit above tabletop with a weapon swap (so Tabletop+ is what I'm going for). I want to try to get it painted all up in 4-5 hours. Name: Shoanti Barbarian Manufacturer: Reaper Miniatures SKU: 60115 Sculpted by: Gene Van Horne I've already got him on his base, primed up, and weapon converted over from his big Earth Breaker to a big 2-handed Axe. I already have about 30-45 minutes into him for the prepping, weapon swap, priming, and basing. Images are pretty big, so I'm spoilering them. I'm going to quickly prime the base and let it dry while I grab some lunch, then I'm going to get to work on him in ernest.
  6. Of course the Hill Giants are the first thing I tackled. As with most larger pieces, I had an issue getting good lighting for them. First we have Ron Perlman.
  7. After 4 days, the Bugbears are ready to menace some rookie adventurers.
  8. Acquired at a lovely hobby shop just over the border for me at Atomic Empire, who had recently acquired a bunch of old Reaper sculpts.
  9. Acquired from Cool Stuff Inc when they were selling off their metal stocks. I have no clue if I'll ever use him, but he's a nice enforcer for a pirate gang.
