Simple, clear figure. Took a stab at some OSL on the pitchfork tines. (I confess that a lot of OSL on faces and such just doesn't appeal to my aesthetic.) The eyes look a little off to me. Was following the Betty Davis Eyes article found around here. They look a bit asymmetric, though. Does give him a bit of a wild look, though. Thoughts?
So I have a ranger beast master character who has a goat companion. I hated the fact that Hildir and her goat come on one base. So I separated them. Next will be some combination of the 2 bones figures. Ideally I will take the grandmother's upper body and attach it to the legs of rioter, but her waist is much narrower. If that looks weird, I'll just do a head transplant! Then arms hollowed out for a toothpick staff.
First up in my February miniatures, the townsfolk: village rioter. I was just looking for something semi-fun inbetween other, more serious projects. I was a little worried his pants were too high contrast, it kind of makes him look cartoony, but that's not so bad, I guess. I always struggle painting eyes so when I got them both pointed the same direction I left it. But of course it leaves him looking angrily uphill (perhaps at Dr. Frankenstein's castle before he storms it). And he's not as bright as I wanted him to be color-wise, but I guess that's okay for realism. I had intended to line him
