I’m working on trying to get this big guy painted to tabletop standard by the time I have to use him at our next Pathfinder D&D session to represent the Roc King on Tilagos Island in the Demiplane of Last Resort, in the Age of Worms adventure path.

Trying to paint the new Bones 4 Roc with the coloring of the American Kestrel. You can see some of my printed off sample images/notes. I was mainly taking the photos so I can recall what colors I am blocking in sections, so if I get distracted (typically), I can go back an easily pick up the colors I need. As I was taking the picture, I thought I might try my first WIP, so here it goes...

Painted my Roc for the campaign I'm in. There we have befriended a Phoenix and it is going to help us fight the BBEG. Putting images in spoiler tag, since picture heavy.... Base still needs some more work. Edit: painted this one at the same time as Blacksting

I needed a large Roc for my upcoming D&D game, so I painted the new Bones 4 Roc in a traditional scheme. Nothing really fancy; just a large bird that wants to pick you up and take you back to its nest to feed you alive to its young.

Finished painting the Roc as a Thunderbird. I lost patience halfway through, so not much blending and proper highlighting.
