  1. This is one of the figures from 06028 plague zombies. I painted him as part of my Morihalda Challenge, he's also going into my End Times project as a chaos marauder dedicated to Nurgle, the plague god. Table top painting, as usual.
  2. I'm not sure what this is supposed to be; I got it as part of a figure lot on Ebay. Maybe an Otyugh? Maybe something C'thulu-ish? In any case I painted it for the Morihalda Challenge.
  3. This is an old Grenadier dwarf from their 'Fantasy Warriors' range/game. I initially wanted his eyes facing up towards his axe, but after goofing them up about 342,539 times, I decided to go with what I had. Tabletop painting for Morihalda Challenge.
  4. This is an old wizard figure from the ChainMail game. I'm including him as part of my Morihalda Challenge; he was already painted, but I did some touch ups, and based him. I was having a bad day, but didn't want to break my streak, so I needed something quick and easy. Still trying to get the hang of playing with my wife's light box; he's a little washed out.
  5. The following images depict a miniature of a female sylph or fairy in natura. I am not sure if these would be in conflict with the posting guidelines or not. Better safe than sorry. First picture Second picture Third picture Clear minis are best painted by undercoating with a matte clear varnish and then transparent paints such as inks. This mini has wings in vallejo pale grey wash before citadel carroburg crimson wet blended on drucii violet. Body in thinned old citadel turquoise glaze, hair and panties in army painter green ink. The
  6. I forget exactly what this figure is called, but it's another old Mage Knight figure that I have repainted. I think it would work well as a (small) evil treant. I'd have to go through the Monster Manual, but I'm sure that there are other plant monsters this would work as, too. Tabletop paint job as usual. ETA---Forgot to mention, this is part of my Morihalda challenge (do art every day in December).
  7. Yup, what is says. Challenge accepted! First comes the Dragon, then come the Timestamp. Then the Dice Rolls of Destiny to decide on colours: Cloudy Gray, Earth Brown and Violet Red. Not bad at all. That could have gone so much more ...shall we say garish?. well anyway, as I don't have very many Reaper paints (not available in any store, not to mention continent) near me, I will make do with as similar as I can get from my other paints: and I see my cloudy grey is backwards so you can't see the name on the lable
  8. I'm not entirely sure what this is supposed to be; I got it in a group of figures that I bought on Ebay. I know it's by Grenadier, and that's it. I painted this up as part of my Morihalda challenge; to a (hopefully) decent tabletop standard. Those eyes were tons of fun.
  9. Bombshell Miniatures 10050 Celeste the Sorceress, sculpted by Kev White. I wanted a simple mini with few accessories to paint up as a quick little project, so I picked Celeste for her clean lines. As a bonus I used some of the Breastcancer Awareness Pink I have multiple bottles of. Spent maybe 3 hours on her.
  10. This is an old Grenadier miniatures troll that I dug out of the lead mountain and gave a quick, tabletop level paint job to. I hope you like him. I slathered Modge Podge all over his base to make it look like he's hanging out in a swamp. I may have made him too dark; this is the best picture I could manage to get of him...
  11. This figure was meant for the fall beauty contest, but I was way slow and finished just a week or so ago.
  12. This is an old mage knight figure I stripped (yes, it is possible. Not easy, but possible. It's also not always worth the time and energy involved) and then repainted. Painted to table top. Let me know what you think. Better view of the base. Yes, it's got eyes, and they're painted!
  13. For the Company of Wolves: A real live one: This is the 77437 Winter Wolf from the third Reaper Bones kickstarter. And about the size of a horse, so I think of it as a werewolf’s full wolf form. Or a Dire Wolf as needs be. Miniature sculpted by Sandra Garrity. Bespoke 50x25mm 3D printed base. and the real dead ones Two pairs of 77533 Dread Wolves from the Graveyard Expansion from the Bones 3 KS. One pair brown and one pair grey. Ended up rather samey…Too dark perhaps.
  14. The minis from The Gluttony Expansion for The Others 7 Sins boardgame. aka The Greater Deamon of Bloated Body Horror. I call him Tetsuo. 40mm base. and his little mini me’s, the Abominations: I call them the six little pigs. 25mm bases. The Controller of Gluttony I call her Leeloo. 25mm base. All of these are made in board game plastic / Rigid PVC The Others 7 Sins is published by CMON / Guillotine Games with miniatures by Studio McVey
  15. This is an old Grenadier bugbear that I started before Reapercon, and finished up last night as part of Inarahs' weekend painting binge. Painted to my usual tabletop standard, mostly in between waiting for my con projects to dry. Let me know what you think.
  16. Just painted up this guy to throw some miscellaneous heroes into my painting queue. Painted him up darker and a little more boring than usual since that seems to be what types of minis the players at my table gravitate towards if choosing a random miniature. Thanks for reading!
  17. Wanted to paint up some halloween themed minis in October so I painted up Gauntfield. He's on a base from Secret Weapon. He was a lot of fun, thanks for reading!
  18. Painted up Feiya for my tempest cleric and painted up this other miniature that I don't know the name or number of (unreleased as of now I think) for my husband's rogue. I tried to paint his poncho sort of like schemes from Clint Eastwood's characters in the Sergio Leone movies. Feiya's base is milliput using a Green Stuff world roller (aztec) and the guy's base is one of the (again, Aztec series) Dragon Forge pre-made bases. Thanks for reading
  19. Today saw the completion of the three Void Sorcerors: Womma Womma Womma! All my thin pointy brushes have given up on life and chosed to split, so I am struggling abit with thin lines these days. While waiting for some new brushes I have ordred to arrive, we get a bit shoddy with the freehand symbols such as in these books. It should still be possible to make out which symbols I have tried to paint in each of them though. I hope. These are from the “Masters of the Void Deluxe Enemy Pack” for Shadows of Brimstone, the Wierd West lovecra
  20. Finally finished this demon chick (Reaper 77281) to decent tabletop stadard. She had been sitting on my bench half painted a long time. Her face had a flash line on one side, so I tried to make it look like a fresh wound.
  21. Balazar, the gnome summoner (Reaper 89023) was fun to paint. That mould line running down the side of his hat thing was not that visible when I painted him. Oh well, another one done, yay!
  22. All I did was cut off the integral base and glue them on painted bases from CMON. Another 4 done! Reaper Bones: Invisible Rogue 77449 Invisible Wizard 77450 Invisible Cleric 77451 Invisible Warrior 77453
  23. Blah, can't win lately. Con, sick, travel, travel, drama....sorry I'm late y'all. Please see the main post here for rules, questions and general chatter, while using this thread to keep a list of links to your show-offs or show-off related comments in a single post: A reminder to please adhere to miniatures posting guidelines as usual. http://forum.reapermini.com/index.php?/topic/72577-resolutionary-painting-challenge-2017-chatterquestions/ All the information you need should be here. Due to the revised format, there will be more than one bonus challenge available for this month.
  24. I speed painted Aglanda while helping my son's girlfriend paint her first mini.
  25. Trying to meet challenge guidelines. This is close to 1 figure 1 thread. I did the priming base-coating and some NNM on previous days. I had so much fun painting these guys today, For at least 90 minutes I was so focused time seemed to stand still. And yet I need to touch up the eyes. and maybe basing - well they are moving to 'ready to play box' so I'm calling them done.
