  1. Hey folks! Even though I made extensive use of Klarg1's basing stamps last paint day, (Thanks again!!), I decided that a pair of candlesticks didn't really warrant their use. So I put the candlesticks on some washers, rolled out some green stuff, and started trying to do a cobble stone look... Pics: Close ups: Nothing fancy I just tried to keep the stones irregular and not looking like bricks... I realize that there are unlikely to be cobble stones in a castle or a dungeon, but as a first time trying to do a pattern, I thought it would be better than a smooth floor.
  2. Continued from here I have been shopping. I invested pretty heavily in Bones 3. I also needed to try to fill out my paint collection a little bit more....and found myself spending a ton of money on new paints from Scale 75. I do not wish to sound like an advertisement. We do a lot of tests and reviews here, and this might be informative for someone. So, let me get this out of the way, here and now: I am all about a person getting, and using, what works for THEM. That can be a computer brand, a phone OS, a guitar, a car, paints, and brushes. Whatever allows YOU to do your job easier,
  3. Finally finished this guy! He was stalled by a lack of paints that I needed, but they came in yesterday, and I got busy! Would have liked to do better with the feathers, but after the third re-try, I left well enough alone. My wife calls him a Skexie... WiP Here Pics: Some close ups: The SC75 metals were awesome for his pauldron, and other pieces, and did well for all his clothes... Base is pretty simple, a few Silflor tufts of 'dead' grass, some fine Gray Ballast, and some Fine Turf earth tone to go around the rocks, skulls, and bones... Comments welcom
