Here you go, folks, my second of the four Warhammer warbands I've got (Here's the first). When I first started painting these, I was a bit worried about them looking just like a blob of gold, but I must say, I'm quite pleased with how the colors look. And that bird... That bird is my favorite. I tried speckling its breast and around its neck, but it just looks blotchy. Oh well.

So, a coworker and fellow painter gave me a bunch of unwanted Warhammer Underworlds Shadespire minis, so uh... Guess that's mostly what you guys will be seeing from me in the near future! As I'm just naturally inclined to orcs, and these guys look absolutely awesome, I painted Ironskull's Boyz first. Also, finally got my hands on some premade washes, so I ditched homemade watered down paints on these. Personally, I think it made 'em look pretty good! The number of ants that tried to photobomb this shot was ridiculous. The lighting on the individual shots was being weird, so sorry if some are darker and other lighter!

I crossed over to the global beast from Nottingham to buy these, they were at a trade show on a deal. Néed to paint some Reaper figures for balance, maybe the Bog skeletons from Bones 4. Vallejo bone primer all over, which was hard to do as it was the exact colour of the unpainted plastic minis. Then an Army Painter Strong tone wash all over everything. Then I did Mirage blue cloaks and shields, and sand and off white wraps and rags. The weapons are Army Painter Old Iron. The bones were not dry brushed, I tried to carefully (for me) paint highlights with Army Painter Skeleton Bone. I seem to have been helped with some very literal paint names on these. In terms of assembly these were very easy as they essentially snap together. All I would say is that this limits converting a bit as you don't have a sprue of heads, arms etc to muck around with and swap. Would recommend these though and they are one of the better value sets as you get seven models.
