For a recent D&D session, the DM said he needed skellies so I knocked these out in about 90 mins. I did go back after the session and fixed a little highlighting but all in all I was pretty happy with how they turned out for a quick paint up. Since bones absorb colors from the minerals around them, I wanted to go less bleached and more unhallowed, greasy, dirty look. So I stuck to the darker bone colors and used the sepia wash. I must have a thing for owlbears since I enjoy painting them and really loved the skeleton.

Hey all, been a while. Quick job from Bones 4. Added a saddle, threw on a Mantic Soul Reaver cavalry rider with a head swap from Puppetswar.

Here are some Reaper Bones skeletal warriors that I made for my Dungeons and Dragons campaign. I tried out some new techniques for weathering the shields. I thinned out some paint for the swordsman for an oxidized look and I used weathering powders on the spearmen. I really like using the weathering powers and can't wait to try them on armor and tanks.

Hi, I have the new Young Skeletal Dragon (03644) and have begun assembly. After caliing customer support, I was informed that there was no slot base provded for this miniature... So, I have a question about this miniature. What is the tab on the bottom of the rib cage? Is that supposed to be there for a base, or is the sternum, o r what is it? I've contemplated cutting it off and pinning the feet to a new base. I see it the pictures of the painted model showing it, but I'm still not sure. Thanks for any help with this. Aluvial
