3. Hi, I plan on trying out warhammer in the future and I accidentally have enough orc minis to make a 50 renown skirmish warband. So, here they are: 6 savages, 7 archers, and a avatars of war orc shaman resin copy I plan on using as an wierdnob shaman (leader of the group) that needs to be based. I plan on putting some rocks, sand and grass on their bases, and then giving them a nice paintjob. I have never painted a "unit" or an army before, and I would be super thankful for any tips or suggestions that you might have for me before I even start, so please feel

5. Wrathborn: Tabletop Skirmish Wargame Is Live on KS. "Wrathborn is a fun fast paced skirmish game with dynamic combat and activations. Set in the dark and mysterious world of Juttergard, Wrathborn has a heavy Dark Age feel to it with a nice slice of High Fantasy." "The rule book is currently running at a BETA version count of 34 pages including the faction list for the initial 2 factions. If you'd like to download this and see what the game is about it is available as a free download in our web stor
6. What's up, denizens of the Reaper forums! I'm proud to be able to show you some of Breachstorm ; the new sci-fi skirmish game launching on 9/18/18. :D Breachstorm is a small-scale, fast-paced game featuring 6-8 models per side that's streamlined to play in under an hour. Every part of the game - from picking your asymmetric, narrative objectives to setting up the terrain, is a crucial part of the game's strategy and a unique activation system allows players to take turns acting with small portions of their team lead by powerful Field Officers so you're never o
7. I picked up a copy of Osprey's Rogue Stars rules when they came out. I still haven't had a chance to play, but I'm not thrilled with the 6 pages of errata for a 64-page book, and the general level of lists of modifers. At least the Quick Reference Sheet is available online now, which it wasn't at publication last Christmas. Anyway, that leaves me with a growing collection of very generic SF figures and possibly no rules. I'm looking for any recommendations for a similar set of rules for small crews or squads that can absorb a wide range of generic figures. I don't care about pop
8. Mantic Games have the licence for a skirmish level game set in the Walking Dead comics, kickstarter to commence in February. Live now https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1744629938/the-walking-dead-all-out-war-miniatures-game
9. I was little surprised not to find a post about this one: Cretacea: The game of gargantuan survival It is a rule set to play skirmish games with Dinosaurs. Sadly no minis. It is 1:100, but I'm sure it should be possible for 28-32mm, too.

11. New York Bop by Ghetto Miniatures is getting relaunched on the 1st May, after coming so close to funding first time around, hopefully with a restructured campaign they will fund this time round. New York Bop is a tabletop skirmish game set in the 1970s, gangs battle it out over a campaign map of the New York City boroughs or just in one-off games. There are 4 starter gangs to choose from, with various pledges ranging from just PDF rules to create your own gang member. Il post the start time once it has been determined by Ghetto Miniatures. 12. I've got a long term project on the go - I'm designing a skirmish game, set in a slightly-fantasyish 14th century England. It's a slow process, but I've made a start, and I'll be working on it whenever I get spare time. If you fancy a look, I've started a small blog to document the development process here: http://ravensrodd.com/ And because posting just a link to a blog is a bit naughty, here's a couple of pics of minis for the project... Anyway, thanks if you take the time to look, and any feedback is appreciated; either here, or by email. cheers, Michael
13. tl:dr Birthright takes that 'divine right of kings' bit seriously. I wanna do some Birthright themed skirmish using the Of Gods and Mortals rules from Osprey. Skip to bottom if you don't want setting explanation. So I read a bunch of the Birthright campaign stuff back in the day and really liked the setting but was so/so on the rules. Warning: Redonculously long setting summary for those not familiar with Birthright (aka, OMG a wall of text!) For those who have no idea what I'm talking about, Birthright was a 2nd edition AD&D campaign setting that had Elves that were basically
14. I'm looking for a Sci-Fi game to get into, but want to avoid GW for the time being. Cost is not a factor, as I value game mechanics and sculpt quality far more. But the single biggest criterion is that the theme shouldn't be mixed (e.g. sci-fi cowboys) - I'm looking for something more traditional. Does anyone know of a game that fits these criteria?
15. Hi everyone, a brief post just to suggest a little, neat ruleset to play with all the Bones minis you've got from the KS. Battlesworn is written by Andrea Sfiligoi, author of Song of Blades and Heroes. Like SBH, it is a generic fantasy ruleset you can play with any miniature you have, its main mechanic is based on secret bidding. Also, it fits perfectly with Reaper Bones (someone else already found it). You can get it for a small price at Ganesha website: http://www.ganeshagames.net/ I'm not associated in any way to Andrea or Ganesha, just love his games =)
16. I got my PDFs today! Goalsystem Delves is kind of a hybrid, letting you run a dungeon crawl or a points-match skirmish. That's all I know so far! The description is why I bought in. Even with a S&W game in the offing, I still wanted some unequivocally miniatures-driven fantasy action. I have high hopes!
