Hello everyone, this is 02473, Aramil the Elf Sorcerer sculpted by Sandra Garrity. I like the shoulder pads and the way the overcoat is textured. I went with a reddish color for the staff to complement the colors of the clothes.

This is not a Goblin Paint Challenge, but I am painting on her in support of OneBoot's attempt to finish DDS2, which contains this figure. About 2 hours work last night, I have the skin and hair, and started roughing out the shading on the staff. The plan is to do her robes in blue-black.

Balazar, the gnome summoner (Reaper 89023) was fun to paint. That mould line running down the side of his hat thing was not that visible when I painted him. Oh well, another one done, yay!

Was doing some prepwork for a Pathfinder campaign and realized, the PCs will be fighting an Ogre Sorceress fairly early on. Kind of hit me that "Hey I just Got one of those" so while I am still working through Bones 2, I went and dug into Bones 3 for this one. and damn she has turned out really nice. Very proud of this one and can't wait till she beats down my players.

Seriously people - I have no idea. Who was this lady again? While Sophie was drying I started to paint her and actually made pretty good progress so far. Tried to get back to my former painting style. Not entirely happy, but happy enough to keep going. If anyone knows what the name of this model is - tell me. I'd be grateful enough to tell her that you knew what I didn't.

So, For those of you not in the Know, some of the Google Hangout regulars decided that it would be a fun thing to pic the same mini, and all paint it over the course of the month... The idea was that we could bounce ideas off each other, as opinions, and discuss things about the mini, all in real time... We all thought that this guy, that Pezler mentioned, and that Dilvish, Chaoswolf and I knew we could get at a store on paint day, would be a fun simple, easy thing to do in between other serious projects.... He certainly ended up proving us wrong about that! But, he also showed us 'proof of concept' in that doing this kind of thing is very helpful, as we found so many things that made him a more complex sculpt than first appears... So here is mine, Finished last night.... WiP Here I noticed whilst taking the pics that I didn't re-trim the black edge of the base after adding in the Secret Weapon snow.... I hurried these two Hasslefree ladies to be ready for starting a new Pathfinder game tommorrow, where Dynamic Lenore (SKU HFH110) is going to be my Half-Orc Summoner and static Lenore (SKU HFH087) will be her eidolon. They are such great sculpts. Edited: Added more tags

Here are my new were-rats! I wanted to have more than melee so I did a lazy conversion by grabbing some GW zombie bits with spears. I stuck a wooden bead over the spear part and filled it with supper glue. A little paint and viola not to shabby (for the table anyway). I cleaned up the bases a bit after picture time as well . I am working on a scenario with a cult of were-rats worshiping ZBP Abominarat. Should be fun .

I really liked the posture on this mini. I imagined her standing in a recently-scorched landscape, unharmed, waiting for her turn at initiative to come up to retaliate. :-)

I felt like painting pink and trying to line in brown, instead of my usual black, so the discontinued Juliette became my test subject. I think I prefer lining with black The right side of Juliette's face is quite a mess, both her hands have issues, and there were several other rough spots on the model. But rejoice, Reaper are making new molds, so I am thinking an improved Bones Juliette will be re-released sometime.

First I want to thank MamaGeek, Pingo and Leader of the Rats that helped me with the gold NMM in my WIP thread: http://forum.reapermini.com/index.php?/topic/61420-need-help-with-spyglass-anastasia/ This is 54 mm Anastasia from Spyglass/Eolith, a really cool figure, hopefully it will still be available even if Spyglass Miniatures and Eolith Miniatures are no more. I thought this would be a great mini to practice Gold NMM on. I don't think its 100% yet, but I am happy with how she turned out.

Enora told me "Paint me NOW!", so I happily obliged, even thought my pile of partially painted is approaching 20. She is so cute!

One of my December painting goals was to paint a miniature from a manufacturer that I hadn't yet painted anything from. Looking through my stockpile of 20 miniatures I chose Phoenicia, an arcane spellcaster from Guild of Harmony. While I was at it, I decided to take care of another painting goal - working on glow effects. The stone she is standing on already has some engravings, but for a little something more I reached into my Bag o Crap and pulled out one of the 25mm bases that had some arcane looking runes already carved on. Now that she's pretty well done I can say that my main complaint with the sculpt is that her lower arm is a PITA to work around. She has those tiny little straps on her side as well as a couple of items that'll have you holding her upside down and turned at a 35o angle just to reach them. I also ran into a problem I haven't had before where I guess I sprayed too much sealer on the backside of her skirt. I'll let it sit overnight and see what I can do with it tomorrow. I also snapped a pic under some different lighting so the white isn't so washed out. A WIP for anyone interested.

Hey all. Over the past month I kind of dropped everything to get a bunch of minis done for my Iron Kingdom's game as it was winding down to the last few months and I had bought this stuff specifically for the game so I figured I had better paint them up. Most are from the Iron Kingdom's line by Privateer but two are from Reaper's Savage World line. So starting out is Father Dumas (one of the main NPCs) Next up is Vahn Oberen (the main Villain) Now for the generics: A Boneswarm Some Bone Fiends from Reaper And finally a bunch of Tomb Maidens that were each painted a different way that you can see in my WIP thread (link in sig)
