  1. Just wondering if anyone else ever had any trouble getting 77059 Orc Berserker to stay standing up? He seems top-heavy.
  2. I thought that I would finish this tomorrow and then post. I kept on looking at it sitting on my painting desk and said..DO IT !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! He is Done. I can honestly say that this miniature blew my socks off, this one has fantastic Challenges, incredible details, and it will make you work and concentrate like you never have before. I don't think I have been happier painting a miniature than this one. so, here is the completed Emperor Lucius, Hope you enjoy him as much as I do.
  3. Since I complete my last mounted Noble Oak Guard I needed to find something to paint. Fortunately, six more figures showed up yesterday, and I started cleaning up the Red Knight. He's been filed, primed, and I decided that I was going to do something different than I normally do. I left off the black lining, and started layering in a dark pumpkin mix of dusky flesh, and fire orange. Then added some brown to make a richer brown undercoat, and painted it onto the figure. I will gradually add reds to fulfill his name, but this is learning, and playing. I really like where this is heading. So, a new beginning! And I can make a real base for him on the standing figure
  4. This is a vignette from my private collection. I love this figure, so far I have painted (5) color versions of her. In the side view photo I tried to show the (subtle, but sexy pink & white garters she is wearing). I submitted this to the Inspiration Gallery and have received no reply.
  5. These are (3) old citadel halfling figures. They are part of the village/shire guard. I loved the looks of these little people and the fancy garb that they wore. It was really fun to paint them. These are game (NPC) playing pieces for my RPG tabletop game.
  6. This is (Razet)...an adventure group deadly foe. Razet sold his soul to chaos and has the ability to vanish and teleport back to a location where he is brought back to life so he can continue his hunting & killing of all humans. The only way to kill him (so he stays dead) is to kill the necromancer he is employed by first. I don't rember the company that released this metal figure. He is a game playing piece.
  7. These are (3 of 6) village/shire vampire hunters. I don't remember the company that produced them (they came in a boxed set of 6 male figures in assorted poses) and I got them from England (some years ago). I love the crispness and poses of all these figures. These are all game playing pieces.
  8. I am looking to find any figure company in the USA that sells the product line (Brother Vinni's Miniatures). If any member has such information, can you please provide it for me. I want to do a captive female figure project for my RPG game. The above name firm has (3 or 4) beautiful figures along the lines I am looking for, but I always prefer to buy in USA (if at all possible). Or if any member knows of any firm/company that makes a figure along the lines that I am looking for, I would like to hear about it. As far as I know (Reaper) does not offer a captive chained female figure...The old Ral Partha figures that I have are too small...the Hasslefree figures that I have are not what I am looking for. Thank you for your time.
  9. This is any enemy Slayer Skeleton band that my adventure group encounters in RPG play. These are plastic figures from an old box set of Dungeon Quest. These are game playing pieces.
  10. This is just one of the many humans that my RPG group encounters during their adventure saga. This is a game playing piece.
  11. This is my (NPC) character that is used in the adventure games played by (The Seekers). Voltar will join the group when (1 or more) regular characters are unable to attend a gaming session. It has not happened too often; my group tends to be serious about & dedicated to the game saga.We play every other week (they have been on the saga for 5 months) and Voltar has only joined the group 4 times.
  12. This is a male player character in my adventure group (The Seekers). He is a pure (charlatan)...a great con-man & cheat. He causes more problems for the adventure group with his mouth than the hoards of creatures they face. This is a game playing piece.
  13. This is one of the female characters in my RPG adventure group (The Seekers). She is a female spell caster type of character. This is a playing piece (all pieces in this group have a high gloss finish to cut down wear from handling).
  14. This is a male player character from my adventure group (The Seekers)...He is a Norse warrior. This is a game playing piece.
  15. This is a vignette from my private collection. I thought that this was a very cute piece when I saw it and that it would lend itself well to a cute vignette in the fantasy style.
  16. This is another human character that my RPG adventure group encounters during their adventure saga. This is a game playing piece. It was a fun character to paint...tried to keep him scrubby & rag-tag looking...added a few gold coins into his bowl.
  17. This is a vignette from my private collection. I love this figure and think that she is cute as a bug. I had fun painting her and the vignette concept was a school girl with her books and a bad-a** gun.
  18. This is one of the male characters in my RPG group. I added the ax weapon to the original charter.
  19. This is a game playing figure; my RPG group has many encounters/battles with these cave people.
  20. This is one of my RPG group playing/gaming pieces. Her name is (Sheba) and is a huntress in the game. I tried to paint her in the subdued natural earthly colors of (skins & furs). I gave her a very subtle scar from the eye bottom to the mouth corner (don't know if you can see it or not)...it is a trophy that she has from her past...I submitted this figure to the Inspiration Gallery and have heard nothing.
  21. This is another vignette from my private collection. This is another figure that I love and have painted (4) color versions of her. I submitted this figure to the Inspiration Gallery and have heard nothing.
  22. Another vignette from my private collection and another figure that I love...have painted (4) color versions of her so far. I submitted this to the Inspiration Gallery and have heard nothing...I am starting to get to the point that maybe I am not doing the Inspiration Gallery submissions correctly (but I am waiting to see).
  23. This is another friend request. He asked me to paint these (3) figures (wizards, I guess???) for his Tau Empire (Warhammer 40K). He requested the "high gloss" finish. He was happy with the results. I still don't have any clue as to who/what Tau are!!!
  24. This is another war boss enemy that the adventure group encounters...he is (Ug Bar). This was another ogre figure that I enjoyed painting...I tend to really like ogre figures for game play.
  25. This is a (54mm) figure from my private collection. I think it is an old (Valiant) figure. This is one of the few non-fantasy figure topics that I enjoy painting (Indians).
