My painting of starwars minis continues with Capitan Rex. Getting faster at freehand, but making it symmetrical is not trivial. Love to hear what everyone thinks. https://www.instagram.com/p/CYhddg9uXCC/?utm_medium=copy_link

Only seemed appropriate to paint up some royal guard to accompany the Emperor. Been awhile since I did any batch painting felt good to get back into it a bit. Couldn't resist adding some flair to the Electro staff guy by adding some electric arcs. again I'd love to hear what people think. https://www.instagram.com/p/CYXFsqVOOMw/?utm_medium=copy_link

After having whipped up a bunch of cake decorations on my 3D printer for my daughter’s birthday (Disney Descendants stuff), my son figured he should get the same treatment. While this is unlikely to go on his cake, after watching the Mandalorian, like many, he was smitten by the Child, specifically the soup scene. this is a pretty quick job of base coat, drybrush then wash (repeated on the clothes because I tried to dirty them up and made a mess), with a bit of more delicate work around the eyes. The vallejo water effect in the cup clouded a little but it should clear up in a couple days. Am quite happy with the little fellow and Mrs. Rahz is thrilled and hope my little dude will as well. thanks for looking.

This is my scratch built Imperial fleet. They are 1/10,000 scale so that they would fit in with my Firestorm ships. They are not 100% accurate, since it is difficult to find scale pictures of these things. all of them use a combination of popsicle sticks and styrene plastic. Sadly for some reason the pictures suffer from some glare. The flagship currently is a Imperial class Star destroyer mark 2. It measures about 61/4 inches long, 2 high, and 3 3/4 wide. Next up is a Victory class star destroyer. And finally a trio of Vindicator heavy cruisers. And the fleet all together. Maybe one of these days I’ll get brave enough to tackle a scaled down Super Star Destroyer. Thanks for looking!
