My wife, @Shinma, started to paint the Clockwork Dragon several years ago. It got to a point where the body was nearly done, and the wings and base remained. We had prepared a big gear salvaged from a monitor stand, sanded down by a friend. Then, inspiration and drive was lost and it sat on the shelf, staring at her, unfinished. Recently she allowed me to finish it. I did the wings, small part of the body, along with the base. Here's our result!

It's been about a year-so long time, no see. We spent almost an entire year remodeling the house and I didn't pick up the brushes for about nine months. It took a little while to get back some brush control, but I'm getting there I think. Beginning again with Hasslefree helped me a great deal as they are such simple figures that require paying attention to the basics of painting-be neat, be tidy, be clean. I don't plan on painting singles much anymore as I am not a display painter. Rather I have chosen to work on teams with pieces that are suitable for the gaming table. The nice thing about painting teams is that it forces one to focus on palette. Thank you for looking.
