As I noted yesterday, I just acquired a box of 54mm semi-flat medieval figures from a Russian outfit called Warriors and Battles. Because these figures don’t mix with anything else I own, it’s pretty much a given that they will form their own limited project. I will go into this more later, but my first question is whether anyone has built a game working outward from the miniatures? There is a pretty good selection of non-combatants/NPCs, three reasonable distinct cultural groupings of humans, some wolves and bears (were-s?), some cultist monks, and some staff-wielding pagan priests and druidesses (according to the labels) to give a bit of a fantasy/fairy tale flair to it all.

First meeting will coincide with the FLGS quarterly game day, so there will be other things for the significant others to do while you paint! Location: Boardwalk Games, 1175 Woods Crossing Road 864.297.6924 Start Time: 12 noon (setup begins around 11) Finish time: 6 pm We are trying to get a well known artist to help us jumpstart the paint club with some open group lessons as well as the possibility of semi-private instruction as well! Come join us for a bit of comraderie and paint slinging!

I lost the thread, someone asked about browns on the colour wheel. They are very dull (desaturated, I think) oranges and yellows. And now you know.
