  1. Well I managed to finish up another group of four walkers. Today's color is purple. As I also have the cloak of another figure I'm working on in purple as well. The gore effect on these walker's was achieved by dipping the bristles of a tooth brush into the blood color and then spaying them on the Walkers. Not a bad effect. Thought I would try different effects with each group for varieties sake. The Fatal Femmes: The Grungy Guys: The Current Completed Hoard: Thanks for looking. Still have 5 more groups of 4 walkers to go.
  2. This is the Ghost from Reaper's Bones miniatures line. I got started on it last year with a few quick runovers with green ink. Since then it has been collecting dust on the shelf but I figured I might as well finish it. So I did some highlighting on the face and hands and painted the headstone.
  3. Hey guys back again with the mighty Deathsleet. I decided to go crazy with colour to make this dragon stick in peoples memories! I decided he would definitively be a Gold dragon in my campaign but have powerfully magic charged wing membranes! So here we have it the gaudy gilded Deathsleet! I had an absolute blast painting this great mini! As always your comments are wanted and appreciated!!
  4. Just a couple of quick table top zombies I did during the hangouts about a week ago. I went for different skin tones on them to try and make them look a little different. C&C is always welcome; thanks for looking.
  5. Hey guys my submission for today is the cool Reaper Vampire! He wasnt a complicated model to paint I had fun and hope you love it he is a great addition to my ever growing Dungeons and Dragons campaign! As always comments are wanted and appreciated!
  6. Hey guys back with the fearsome Frost Wyrm!! I painted this guy in semi traditional colours! I really hope you like this one and as always comments are wanted and very much appreciated! If anyone wants to add me as a friend I would be honored! I love to discuss painting schemes!
  7. Hey guys back again with Leisynn the mercenary mage¬ Although for my campaign he is the mighty Gorloth the Necromancer. Raiser of the court of Skeleton kings, underling to the indestructible Corvaxx the Shadow dragon!( I am waiting for the right model for him! As always comments are wanted and appreciated!
  8. Hey guys just worked on this dragon today. A young adult silver dragon! I have added a subtle purple and blue haze over the silver to give it a mother of pearl effect! As always comments are wanted and appreciated!
  9. I decided to make my Walker blocks a little smaller from here on out. Groups will be of 4, since that is the number of different models. As I posed my group I noticed something interesting. When posed certain ways it almost told a story of Zombie Romance. Young Zombies in the blooming romance: Next a Zombie Couple that are having a bit of a dispute: And of course a group shot of my painted collection:
  10. I will paint and create a Reptilian Army pure for fun. It will consists of many different kind of Reptiles and Amphibians. Mostly Snakemen, Lizardmen, Frogmen, Dragonmen, Turtlemen, Fishmen, Dinosaurs and Insects. I will happily include any monster I think will fit. Khanjira will be the centrepiece at some sort as the Living Lizard God. I do not play any games, so this will be pure for my own and (I hope your) fun to create. EDIT: The above was my original plan, over time and thanks to the comments made by other Forumites, this has developed into a story. This resulted in more Factions I wanted to build and paint, so this Project now also includes Pirates, Conquistadores, Native Warriors based on Inca/Aztec/Maya cultures. EDIT: And now it will also include Undead! *********** Captain Luigiano and his army had been travelling through the jungle for weeks now. The sunlight was blocked by the dense canopy of trees. Some of the men had contracted fever, and those darn mosquitos were a big nuisance! He looked at the golden plaque he had obtained. Gold, with a snakeman made out of gems on it. With this he had convinced the men to follow him. Somewhere in this accursed jungle there was a city made of gold, he was sure of it. They would conquer this city and become rich beyond belief. He looked at his army, they even had a few cannons. Nothing would stop them! Finally they reached a clearance. The men were pleased, at least they could see the sun again. They took a rest and a drink, tended to the sick. Suddenly they heard a loud roar from the other side of the clearing. Birds flew away, trees where falling! Some poison darts flew and two soldiers fell, they died before they hit the ground. A loud roar and an enormous terrifying Lizard appeared. One soldier died out of fear from just looking at it. Then the Reptilian Horde emerged from the Jungle. **************************
  11. Finally got photos taken from my Memorial Day weekend paint binge challenge. This guy came out much better than expected. I cut a great big chunk off the rock pile he was standing on and put him into one of those depressed bases with some sand.
  12. Hey guys back again and this time I painted the mighty verocithrax this amazing figure was very exciting to paint I decided to emulate Koi carp in painting the dragon I feel it fits well! As always comments are wanted and appreciated!
  13. Hey guys! After much agonising on what miniature to use for the fourth king I decided on a mounted knight figure! I am still not 100 percent on the choice but felt it was different enough to be a great addition to the court of the skeleton kings! I hope you love it,, As always comments are wanted and appreciated!
  14. Hey guys ! Today I am submitting the third of my four skeleton kings. This one is the Ghost king of Amethyst! My other two are jade and Ruby check them out also! Also please let me know if any of you guys have projects I would love to know about them!
  15. After my exchange mini I wanted to touch work on something less taxing. So I decided to work on a few more Walkers. Also I decided to test out the camera on my new tablet. Not a whole lot of editing options, but I could crop the photos, and I think I got the white balance OK. Here is the group shot: While I finished the highlights on the skin of all 4, I only managed to get this guy's highlights finished. I still plan on putting down some washes to make the shadows darker, and bloody him up. But this is the 1st step in my Zombicide process. I'll see how it looks on my computer in a bit. Edit: I changed to topic title to reflect the change in WIP's Purpose. Later I will add the four unpainted models.
  16. I painted these guys up in about 7 hours over the course of 3 days in the Google hang outs that some members have been doing. I actually find it kind of motivating, being able to hang out with people from the forums, AND paint at the same time. They're all bones figures, and I decided not to boil them; the various (minor) bends/leaning position/etc actually serve to differentiate them a little bit. I also used slightly different color combinations on them to further the effect. I was also able to accomplish the 'glowing, evil, pit of hellfire' effect on their eyes (although the green doesn't show up as well as I would have liked) that all undead have. Please let me know what you think. Group shot:
  17. Hey guys today I am submitting the second of four skeleton kings for my Dungeons and Dragons adventure! The first was my Jade skeleton king! Now I have done my Ruby king I hope you love it as always comments are wanted and appreciated!
  18. Hey guys back again this time with the awesome Fire demon! This mini has sooo much detail. I had a blast doing this one I literally painted him by using a series of dots on the skin in three different shades of green! There must be thousands of dots lol. I also accented the dots with white cracks. I am very proud of this model, Any comments are wanted and gratefully received! Enjoy,
  19. I converted and painted these guys up for Inarah's paint binge this weekend. I tried giving them each a different skin color; I also decided to gore 'em up a bit; they are in order from clean to 'CW, you are a sicko', so you can skip the last few if you want to. Please let me know what you think. Clean ghast---swapped his base for one from Secret Weapon From the looks of those bones, he hasn't eaten in a while. You may want to run... Drooling ghast---swapped his head with a GW zombie head. Bloody handed ghast---I added some clothing to this one Gore hound ghast---I re-positioned his right arm, added some guts, and put a dismembered arm in his left hand Spoilered for the squeamish. >sigh< and I missed few mold lines
  20. Here is more Zombicide Walkers I've been slowly working on in spurts. They are tabletop Quality (to me). Maybe I should make the next batch bloodier. And a photo of the small collection I've managed to paint. PS: After all this recent talk about table top and speed painting threads, I think I might test myself to see how quickly I can finish one.
  21. Hey guys today I worked on my Eldritch Demon an awesome model. I painted it in flesh tones because the green mini cthulu has been done to death! As always comments are greatly received and wanted! Also a big thankyou to all who look,,like and comment on my paint jobs!
  22. Just a relatively quick tabletop job, probably for Frostgrave or Song of Blades. Finished in two days' painting sessions while working on other stuff. Tried a glaze of Clear Magenta on the skin, which I really liked. Might start doing that more often for flesh, really warms it up. As always, the gore effects are done with Tamiya clear red and Army Painter Quickshade ink. C&C welcome!
