Here's a quick one I did. Randomly went into the box of Bones (KS I) and pulled these out. Pretty simple paint job. First off, 9064 Brown Liner as both primer and base color. Next, 913 Forest Green, 9134 Clotted Red, 9050 Antique Gold, 9126 Gunmetal Blue, and 9280 Nightmare Black were all used to paint individual beetles. Afterwards, I probably would have stuck with just the red and gold. Those looked the best on the base color.

These guys wouldn't even be worth posting if it weren't for my November goals. They started off as all red beetles, but I didn't like how they looked. After letting them sit on the shelf for a while, I decided why worry about cannon fodder. They got some dark grey legs,an orange midsection to break up the red, and some green eyes. Another couple of monsters into the done pile.
