  1. I always thought this was a fantasy mini. Only when I began painting it I could read the sculpt enough - no fantasy mini at all, more of a pulp themed one. Probably better suited for the chronoscope line... Painting was really fun, though. Just a quick paint job on black primer. Since I rarely prime black that was a very interesting experience. C&c very welcome. Enjoy!
  2. 3D printed on my Elegoo Mars, design from PrintYourMonsters. Impaled Victim, it will be used as a Unit Filler for my Undead. Part of the Children of the Night Project. WIP here: https://forum.reapermini.com/index.php?/topic/79298-children-of-the-night-by-glitterwolf/page/23/ ********************** You know you're in trouble when you walk into a village and you see the adventurer that came there before you like this. **********************
  3. Decided to do some Christmas red and green on this little scene I created! Practiced some blood and gore, still not thrilled with the blood and gore. Just a rough/quick paintjob. The victim is actually a Bones 1 zombie. I cut the arm off and his waist and then used copper wire to simulate intestines. I then used green stuff to make some gore. and I used the drilled out coils of Bones plastic as well!!!! Hope you like!
  4. So, this is a rather big project for me. been in the planning stage for a long time now. Almost afraid to start.. I am not much fan of the egyptian parts of the warhammer undead armies, and decided I want to try having a more gothic undead army, which means creating my own stuff to proxy. I got a little carried away, and decided to make all of this into a little diorama. Ordered a ton of bits and pieces, and had to pay through the nose in government custom fees.. but what can you do? :D Anyway, here is a little test of how things will be: So far it consists of: 2xNightspectres, 77099 Ghostly summons, 77095 Dragoth the Defiler, 30010 Crypt of the Vampiress, 02990 Altar of Evil, 77139 Female: Victim, (P02580C) Shannon (body), (P02083A) Back of Throne (P02068B). .. and some jewlerybead skulls..
  5. This is what I'll be using as a casket of souls in my warhammer undead army. Finally it will be a part of a greater diorama, so it has a place to rest in the shelf. This was a lot of fun to paint. Miniatures used: Crypt of the vampiress; 02990 Ghostly Summons; 77095 (Bones) Victim, from Altar of Evil + Victim; 02580 (Unable to locate just the victim when I tried to find it again) Altar of Evil; 77139 (Bones) Base from Warhammer graveyard set Skull beads (eBay) Q-Tips :P Nudity1 Nudity2 Nudity3 Close-up of altar: Added closeup of vampire:
  6. So finally got this done, have this wandering around on my WIP topic. Hopefully you enjoy, the base is just a very basic one, and I didn't do much more than cover it with corn meal, and then used weathered stone, with some washes, then highlighted to white. I have to say I really enjoy this figure on so many levels. I was kind of intimidated by it being large, with a victim, but once I started painting it, the detail was just so nice. One of my favorite parts is the snake that is coming out of his pinky finger and twisting through the skull on his belt buckle. I also really like the victim himself. On his scabbard he's got oddly a nice little flower on it, so he's probably a really sensitive barbarian deep at heart, or maybe a botanist barbarian, who will ever know? I did add blood to the axe coming out of that delightful decapitated head, but didn't want to do too much. I thought about adding blood to the dagger the barbarian is plunging into the demon's arm, but got to thinking. If it's not a magical blade, it very well might not even be able to hurt the demon, so he could poke at it all he wanted to with no effect. Anyhoos, hope you enjoy!
