  1. Fun little piece. I attempted to paint it in the style of Costa Rican coffee wagons. It was a real challenge, given the irregularities of the wheel surface. I wish it had a donkey, goat or ox to pull it. It will stand upright by itself on some surfaces, but I stuck a block under it to stabilize during photography.
  2. Painted up the cart from Reaper's Bones 4 Dreadmere expansion, and did some modifications to it. First, I installed magnets into three base and the crate and barrel so they wouldn't fall off, and then created a bunch of cabbages because I'm a huge Avatar fan. But then, I needed a cabbage salesman, and so I did some modifications to a Bones 4 villager (head swap, added hat, modified the hand, etc) and painted him as a close approximation. Finally, just for fun, I threw in the halfling Kineticist that I painted up in Aang's colors a year or so ago...

    Vardo

I finally finished painting my vardo. It isn't traditional colors but I think it looks fine for a gnome bard to live in! The model itself came out of the package a bit warped. Not sure what happened to it. Anyway, I used some of my favorite colors to paint it up.
  4. For a change, I'm actually getting to PLAY, rather than be the GM: one of my veteran players is taking over in order to run a Pathfinder RPG campaign -- the "Kingmaker" campaign - -while I take something of a break. However, I can't just take a break completely, so even though the GM has a bunch of pre-painted Pathfinder and D&D minis at the ready for the campaign, and is using printed battle maps, I have been focusing on kit-bashing and painting minis for the PCs (and eventually whatever companions and cohorts they pick up on the way). Recently, the adventurers acquired a wag
  5. This is the wagon/cart from Nolzur's marvelous miniatures, by Wizkids. Nothing special, just a quick tabletop paint job.
  6. Been a while since I posted here. Been a few slow months. Did get to play around with OSL, and plenty of gore on this one. I like gore. :D :
  7. There was a bit of discussion on the kickstarter comments about wanting wagons and what not for gaming and how expensive metal and resin versions are. I also realize that my comment there is going to disappear very quickly (I'm sure its already rolled off the first page now). 4Ground has a number of nice wagons that would be perfectly suitable for fantasy games. Here are few pictures of the more or less standard freight wagon with a Reaper Miniature (Savage World Prospector I think) inside it (I think the other one is by Dixon). These are nice wagons, they are reasonably price
  8. GYPSY WAGON # 3...(Small 2 wheel utility/supply wagon under repair)...This is the (3rd) of 6 wagons that will be featured in this part of my traveling Gypsy nomad band. The wagon is complete except for the base edge ground cover work and the final seal spray of the whole vignette piece. It is completely scratch built and the vignette measures (3"x4"). NOTE: Credit for this wagon idea & vignette concept goes to fellow member Darsc Zacal...who suggested that I do a wagon that was being repaired.
  9. Gypsy Wagon # 2 (Small supply 2 wheel flatbed wagon)...This is the (2nd) of 6 wagons that will be featured in this part of my traveling Gypsy nomad band. The wagon is complete except for the final seal spray. It is completely scratch built and measures (2"x3"). NOTE: This is the final results of the wagon featured in my (building Gypsy flatbed supply wagon) tutorial.
  10. Gypsy Wagon #1 (Small Utility 2 wheel wagon with sideboards)...This is the (1st) of 6 wagons that will be featured in this part of my traveling Gypsy nomad band. The wagon is complete except for the final seal spray. It is completely scratch built and measures (4"x2").
  11. This is a game play terrain & building(s) piece of a country inn & stables in a tranquil setting (10mm scale). The whole piece is scratchbuilt (except for the horses & the single brown stag in the lower left corner). The piece is (16" x 16") built on a celing tile base. All rock formations are my plaster casts cut & sculptured as needed.
