  1. I stumbled across the plans for this online so decided to give it a go. It's made from foamboard, balsa wood, and cardboard.
  2. Hey folks! We're super excited to share the next exciting chapter of Flatline City! Flatline City: Second Wave is a HUGE new, city building terrain set with a core set of 110+ city building models. This anticipated expansion to Flatline City can be used as standalone terrain or combined with the original Kickstarter release for incredible modular city building. As requested by the community, this set includes a huge range of upgrades and features that compliment and expand the original Flatline City terrain series. There are 330+ additional models available as stretch goals and more to be added as they all unlock! You can follow the project here. 3. Since i didn't have my paints with me while on break, i was hungry to get back to it. I guess i wasn't as full of turkey and stuffing as i thought. As I'm posting this, i saw on his left leg that he's got an unpainted seal. Dang it! I made the bands on the blade smaller. Added more metal details. Added more accent color. Tested two new paint color (silver grey, red. And German Grey). Each did great. His backpack gave me some trouble. I was gluing it on, but the post didn't push in and then it broke off. Ended up doing some surgery back the but it's on.
  4. So, i don't know if this is okay or not, but i wanted to share them. I had never painted any warhammer stuff. Both because of the cost and the fear of getting caught up in that universe. Well... it started. I bought my first set of intercessors back in January, but never touched them because i just didn't feel able to take them on. There's some amazing painters who do these and i always felt inadequate. Gotta start somewhere though. I started watching a ton of videos on them and put some ideas together. Here's my first ever 5 painted. I tried to test two paint schemes green and blue. I think they both came out great. having never got into these before, i now see the reason people like these so much. Very fun but very time consuming. Would love your feedback.
  5. And here are some of my other works keeping in the spooky theme. Since he was metal and not Bones, Rotpatch went here. @MattParody was nice enough to include this Radukar the Wolf in our last trade box. Who doesn't love giant Cossack Vikings? a Death Tyrant from Nolzur's Some Spiders from Wargames Atlantic, also the most likely to hit a table soon for RoSD
  6. Flatline City is launching in a few weeks! 7. As I mentioned in the thread on the Captain with Terminator Honours, here is the best painted Dreadnaught I have done, the trident symbol on the front is the chapter insignia. Let me know what you think!
  8. I thought it would be cool to show off an older model I painted, this one is a vintage Space Marine Captain, painted in the colours of my own Chapter, the Sons of Poseidon. Comments and criticisms always wanted, let me know what you think! The model was painted using Army painter paints.
  9. Next week, the Lost Colony: Spaceship Graveyard Kickstarter goes live. Preview video at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BoWMlOpl2Vk Pre-signups at https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/saucermenstudios/lost-colony-spaceship-graveyard Lost colony: spaceship Graveyard is the ultimate starship wreckage system. It's all about customisation, fallen spacecraft and the fragments they leave behind. This modular, 3D printable terrain is the second Kickstarter from Saucermen Studios and is even bigger and more diverse than the last. 10. Seemingly unrelated to each other, but I swear all these minis were drying from the sealer by 11:23pm on 12/31/2020. Here are....Lidless Eye's Last Minis of 2020! A Winter Wizard from Reaper Miniatures oh wait it's Santa, isn't it? To back him up, some friendly Reindeer to back him up. Wait, I'm being informed they're actually Grashrak's Despoilers from Warhammer: Underworlds The last bit of their native habitat, a fallen tree (3D print from The Lost Adventures) A creepy Scarecrow Puppet familiar from Reaper Miniatures. Arik Axereaver, Barbarian, acquired as a bonus along with the Father Christmas. His head seems to reflect everything in the lightbox. And doing what we all should from the last year, the Fleeing Halfling from Warploque Miniatures. He must know Johann.
  11. Slightly delayed to finish, and even more delayed to post to the forums, are my usual themed miniatures from November: Dwarves! Beardy folk seem most appropriate for No-Shave November. Redcaps pretending to be Dwarves from Massive Darkness A Duergar Trapper from Stonehaven Miniatures The Dwarf King from the small release "The Dwarf King's Court, Revisited" by Colin Dixon Miniatures A Warhammer Dwarf Miner where I think I remembered how flames work: This was going to be my PC for Rise of the Runelords, but the game ended before I ever painted him. Grimlok Rockholmes, the World's 2nd Greatest Dwarf Detective. SKU: 50319: OLAV GUNDERSON, DWARF GAMBLER The only beardless member, SKU 77413: Margara, Dwarf Shaman SKU 77572: Dwarf Master of the Hunt. Jason Wiebe always manages to hide fun details: I hadn't realized his jacket was a dragonskin and not just armor plates until I was almost done and wound up painting it to match. Another Pathfinder Iconic that took way too long, SKU 89020 Harsk, Iconic Dwarf Ranger
  12. My next project is a small Kroot force. I don't play Warhammer 40K, but these guys will be a great band of aliens for Star wars. Here is the test figure that I painted earlier. Now up are four Kroot hounds. They have been base-coated Nurgling Green and washed with Reikland Fleshshade. Now to give that some time to dry.
  13. My take on 54mm Zweothel. Join my Patreon and Instagram to see more https://www.instagram.com/story1000suns/ Vote for her on P&P https://www.puttyandpaint.com/projects/27985
  14. Here you go, folks, my second of the four Warhammer warbands I've got (Here's the first). When I first started painting these, I was a bit worried about them looking just like a blob of gold, but I must say, I'm quite pleased with how the colors look. And that bird... That bird is my favorite. I tried speckling its breast and around its neck, but it just looks blotchy. Oh well.
  15. So, a coworker and fellow painter gave me a bunch of unwanted Warhammer Underworlds Shadespire minis, so uh... Guess that's mostly what you guys will be seeing from me in the near future! As I'm just naturally inclined to orcs, and these guys look absolutely awesome, I painted Ironskull's Boyz first. Also, finally got my hands on some premade washes, so I ditched homemade watered down paints on these. Personally, I think it made 'em look pretty good! The number of ants that tried to photobomb this shot was ridiculous. The lighting on the individual shots was being weird, so sorry if some are darker and other lighter!
  16. I've been trying to work on my encounters for Rangers of Shadow Deep. Here's a bunch of randomness from that work! Oh, Rats! We have: a Warhammer Quest rat, a Frostgrave Wizards II Rat Familiar, a Reaper Bones Rat Swarm, a Reaper Bones Rat Ogre, a Spawn Rat from Dark Platypus Studios, a Warhammer Skaven Giant Rat, and a Rat Mama 3D print from Crippled God Foundry. Oh, Bats! A Bat Swarm from Reaper Bones. An Infestation of Spiders: A Reaper Bones Cavern Spider, a Reaper Bones Spider Swarm, a man-faced spider that may be from Foundry, and a classic Warhammer Quest giant spider. Flies that are Giant: One of the more unusual encounters in Rangers of Shadow Deep. I picked these up from the 40k Kill Team: Rogue Trader boxed set before there were official models.
  17. So, I heard Chaos Marauders are essential in Maggotkin of Nurgle armies in Warhammer: Age of Sigmar. I prepped these guys for our planned league game that got delayed due to the pandemic. At this rate, Sons of Behemat will be out before we can play.
  18. After many many moons, I finally finished painting Captain Long Drong, leader of the Slayer Pirates, from the good old Dogs of War days of Warhammer.
  19. More minis prepared for an upcoming Warhammer: Age of Sigmar escalation league. First we have The Wurmspat, the Nurgle warband from Warhammer: Underworlds And painted at the same time, also for my Maggotkin of Nurgle, a random Blightking, a Harbinger of Decay, and a converted Lord of Blights.
  20. Picked up just because I wanted to paint some more Ghouls, here are The Grymwatch from Warhammer Underworlds. I was amazed the amount of character they can get into a snap-fit kit these days.
