  2. So, yesterday (also my last day of High School), there were severe thunderstorms in the midwest (specifically, Texas, Oklahoma, Kansas, Nebraska, Iowa, Minnesota, and Wisconsin. Here is a map of Storm Reports from the Storm Prediction Center. Hope everyone is safe. Because SPC's day 2 outlook looks like this: And just for the record--I live in Southern Illinois-so I'm okay.
  3. Heyo Coloradans (and anyone else that has had nasty hail)! Did you survive the hail? I have friends posting pictures of their neighborhoods demolished, or parking lots full of shattered windshields. Everyone okay? No bonks on the noggin's by icy golf balls? My area just got a ton of rain, thunder, and lighting. Was pretty worried for my roommate out on bicycle rides though; had to rescue him from wind the other day.
  4. Tropical Depression 8-DISSIPATED Post tropical cyclone Hermine: http://www.nhc.noaa.gov/graphics_at4.shtml?5-daynl#contents Just because Hermine is post tropical now doesn't mean that it's all over. 5. The Ice Storm in Texas and Oklahoma is winding down, but I was wundering-does anyone in Texas and\or Oklahoma have any storm reports? (e.g., ice accumulation\accretion, snow\sleet accumulation, power outages, road conditions, etc.) As I live in Illinois, I am just getting plain ole rain. Had a flash flood watch this morning. Any reports?

  8. Man I'm loving this weather. I can be outside in jeans and a t-shirt and not be hot. I wish it was like this all the time in Florida. I do understand that it's a bit cold in other parts of the northern hemisphere though.
  9. Already have schools closing on Monday here in Wisconsin, and I know these cold temperatures will be affecting lots of places. Stay warm and safe. Good weekend for painting, don't you think....
  10. Just viewed the local TV weather forecast for DFW/ReaperCon: Thursday and Friday: a bit of a cold snap. Daily high afternoon temps 53 and 60 fahrenheit. Saturday and Sunday: more spring-like, Daily afternoon highs around 69 or 70. (There is cold front expected to be blowing through Thursday evening through Friday morning.) The other weather thread.
