So. At the start of Reapercon live 2020, my hobby room was a semi organized space, that wasn't really planned out. I also had not taught online so I had to create an area to do that. This meant shuffling things around to clear up space for a PC, cameras, class supplies etc. Post Reapercon I was left with a huge mess, as more shuffling occurred to not only teach, but to take a few courses. Dear forum, While doing research for my little hermit project (found here) I have been watching a lot of painting tutorials on youtube lately. I came across many techniques using rattle cans or even an airbrush and I would very much like to try some of those (like zenithal lighting or spraying on base coats and varnishes). Getting an airbrush would also be nice... Here is the problem though: I live in a rented apartment with no dedicated hobby room or even hobby table. One benefit of our unplanned and sudden move is that we will finally have a hobby room. The first few displays were moved over first: Then came a lot more of the mess: Shelves have been set up, and a folding table arrived from Amazon: An older end table has been drafted as a paint and build station: Once it's finished up, I'll have to take shots of the whole set-up, but there's still a bit left to go.
Ok so it's really my fiancee's hobby room but she doesn't have an account on here yet and I built it so... New vinyl tile floor and a fresh coat of paint. Walls are just primer white so she can do whatever she wants. Kitchen was originally the back of the house and then they added on this room. The had just covered up the brick so the wall in between was about 12 inches thick. She wanted an accent wall so I knocked off the sheetrock.
