First time playing with the copper triad, and man, was that fun! I got a little burned out on the NMM, so the sword could use more work - I was really thrown by the runes. Also, the paint job was inspired by an awesome animal, the blue pit viper. I added a picture. I may do another one at some point, and that one will probably get started with a magenta wash so that the scales end up with that amazing scalloping that the real snake displays. C&C welcomed!

But what a great journey it had been. The wagons were filled with animals they had found, some still alive in small cages, most preserved in bottles with alcohol. Dr. Elisa Hartmann was thrilled, she was certain her colleagues at the University of Mosul would be envious of her findings. Several unknown species of scorpions, lizards and birds and even a rare tortoise. Suddenly Ahmed shouted : SNAKE! Excited Dr. Hartmann ran to Ahmed, maybe it was a rare serpent? She hoped so! Ahmed came running towards her, TURN BACK! He shouted. A bit confused Elisa stood still, Ahmed ran past her. Surely Ahmed wasn't afraid of some snake? And then she saw it. It was bigger than a man and when it came closer she noticed the human torso with four arms. Hypnotized by the image she stood there. *********************** The University of Mosul would never receive the specimens. Dr. Elisa Hartmann was reported missing.

Be afraid, very afraid, this place is not ruled by Men, be warned when you see the first signs of Snake statues and other signs of worship of Apophis! The first people you meet might look human, but on closer inspection you'll notice the strange eyes, the forked tongue and sometimes the scaled skin. When reaching the Capitol it will be too late. Here we see one of their priests, reading from a sacred book bound in human flesh, written in a language unknown to Men. What kind of incantations is he reading? What unholy abomination is he summoning?
