  1. I won these four big boys on eBay a while back and I'm now getting around to painting them. (This may or may not have to do with the fact I pledged for all the giant add-ons in Bones 4 and I need to make some room.) All four giants were sculpted by Jason Wiebe and I think he did a fantastic job. They have a classic vibe to them, but they also have a lot of detail and interest. First on the list is Blorg, whom I have started to paint. I'll try to get some clearer pics of how he's coming along soon. The Fomorian Giant will probably be next on the list since it's already one piece. For Frorigh (the frost giant) and Gunther (the fire giant) I'll need to clean them up first, so I'm saving them until a bit later. The previous owner did a decent tabletop job on Gunther but the paint is worn off in places and he's fallen apart, just as Frorigh has. Any tips on the best way to remove old superglue would be appreciated. Both giants have it caked on so thickly around the arm sockets that it'll need to be removed before I can pin them and reattach the arms properly. Thanks for looking!
  2. Also picked up during last week's sojourn to Atomic Empire...I didn't even realize he was half-off at the time. I like the subtle details showing his scale...I had never noticed his dragon cloak until I started painting him! The keyring in the snout is an inspired idea. Again, Giantslayer motivated the purchase, even if I never run it.
