    77025 Giant Spider (Pumpkin Spider)

The Pumpkin Spiders guard the Holy Patches, protecting their charges from the heretics known as "Pumpkin Smashers". When not dealing out the Wrath of the Great Pumpkin, they also look after the pilgrims who sit in the Patch, providing them with Reeses Pieces and covering the sleepy ones with Security Blankets...

    77025 Giant Spider

WIP here: http://forum.reapermini.com/index.php?/topic/71625-oneboot-attempts-minivember-painting-a-mini-every-day-in-november/?p=1466407 I based my paint job of this little guy off of the peacock jumping spider (spoilered because spider): I'm very happy with how he turned out, even though it took me three times longer to paint him than I'd planned; painting freehand on a textured, curved surface is hard! You can see the orange strip here, though my camera is making it look more red than it actually is. Group shot! Peter spider wants to party too! Sir Forscale and Ruff the wolf don't seem real keen on this idea, though. This is the figure I painted for Day 5 of my "paint one mini per day all of November" challenge. Link to index thread: http://forum.reaperm...ay-in-november/ Huzzah! --OneBoot :D

    Grins and Giggles (77025 & 77242)

So I got my Reaper Order a couple of days ago and inside was a "treat" from Reaper for their Ghoulie Bag. The treat consisted of a Giant Spider and a Sword/Board Skeleton. I figured, I needed a break from serious work for a few hours and decided that the skeleton was a perfect size to fit on the spider, so I went to work sculpting a saddle/seat for the skeleton to be placed on the spider so that he was mounted. I then thought to myself this is for grins and giggles, so that's their names! I present to you a very quick (for me) tabletop (didn't worry about mold lines) modification of a spider riding skeleton! Figures: Skeleton 77242 and Giant Spider 77025 Manufacturer: Reaper of course Materials: Bones Sculptors: Gene Van Horne for the spider and unsure for the skeleton as it's not tagged. A quick WIP spoiler here as I don't feel like doing a whole WIP thread for this, but if people have questions I can answer them: C&C are welcomed and greatly appreciated, thanks for looking!

    77025: Giant Spider

Pretty quick paint! Base done with happy seppuku stamp and sand. Based in walnut brown, and drybrushed with some white. Layers with some feathering of mahogany brown, AP fur brown, new HD woodland brown. HD Crimson and garnet reds for under abdomen.

Bones - Young Dragon & Giant Spider

Here's my last 2 Bones models until the Kickstarter package arrives. Not my best work I don't think, but overall I'm still happy with them. 77026 - Young Dragon This guy gave me a lot of trouble with shading/highlighting. I don't think I have a handle on red yet. I learned a few things, which is good, since this guy was mainly meant as a practice run before the large dragons in the Kickstarter. I'm happy with the overall color scheme, but my red shading is going to need some work. It looks a little better in person than it does here, as I ended up with too much glare from my light. His base is supposed to have a cooled molten lava rock look.
