    Angie paints some Bones Skeletons

I painted up the skeletons I had from Bones 2 together with a Bone Fiend. The Skeletons were fun to do, the Bone Fiend a bit less as the model was quite undefined. For the skeletons, I took some inspiration from the game Morrowind for the colours, bases and shield designs.
  2. So I finally got my Reaper Bones Learn to paint core skills kit, and decided to use the techniques for the skeleton on these skeletons first (well sort of haha). The whitewashed skeleton was a Vallejo ivory model color bottle which seemed WAY more thin then the reaper stuff, so not too happy with it at the moment, but will take it through the other techniques and see how it plays out. The other skeleton is more true to the walkthrough in the LTPK book. They both of course had a black primer done before the base coat and they both had their bases done (one with kitty litter, the other just baking soda). the white one is only on the basecoat, where the other is ready for its drybrush. Will post more as they move along.

    Wasteland Skeletons

Some these guys were in another thread, but I based them since then. This is the last of the guys I started on memorial day, done for tabletop, and as a break from a a figure I was taking more time with.

Bones 2 skeletons, and barrow wardens

These were started on memorial day, and I got used to doing quick skeletons, so while I was slowly building up layers on a pregnant woman from oathsworn, I knocked out these gentleman. My free hand obviously has a long way to go still.

    30 Skeletons Hath November

I had a goal to paint 30 skeletons in October (see my work in progress though I am bad at posting progress pics). Well they are finally done! Photos behind a spoiler since so many: Thanks for reading!

    5 x Bones II Skeletons

I painted up 5 of the skeletons from Bones II, originally for the April Resolutionary Challenge, but once I finished the paint job, I had a complete block on how to base them so fell off the challenge wagon. I wanted them to look like their tomb had been a bit mouldy and damp so I washed all the woods with a mix of green and grey ink, and tried to make the metals look really rusty and pitted.
  7. Here is a selection of skeleton warriors and Guardians from the Bones 2 Kickstarter. I have painted them to represent they are inhabitants of a damp old crypt, hence the green staining and rust on the weaponry. This is the first set of Bones 2 models I have attempted to date. Here is a group shot of the lot followed by a few close ups of particular models. I have based them in my normal way, to represent them spilling out from the depth of a crypt. As always comments or suggestions welcome.
