I painted this guy up a couple of months ago. Husband needed it for a 13th Age campaign he's running. I'm really happy with how he came out. I painted him up in about 3 hours give or take.

So i have two of these guys, and I'm modifying one to give it a bit of a different look I used a base from 80038: Bathalian Centurion for a shield, and cut off the shark tooth and glued it to an arm from 62111: Numenera: Erynth Grask i had laying about after a modified exchange mini and made a improvised axe i did a bit of green stuff additions to the shield for a fish skeleton color wise i'm not certain what to do just yet. I want patterns...i'm thinking a whale shark for the improvised guy, maybe a tiger or bamboo shark for the other

I painted this dude in about an hour. It came in the mail the morning before the game session I was planning to use him. I'm using this mini for a recurring character who previously lost an arm (space dragon bit it off during a spelljammer campaign). It's great because the half shark/half man is very mild mannered, but fierce in a fight so the mini has a great presence outside of combat just to remind the players of the other side of the coin. We're running Strahd and I replaced the mad mage with another recurring character and had him magically regrow the sharkman's arm. I may come back and cut one of his arms off later though.

Had a fun paint session with family on Saturday. My brother-in-law and his daughter have never painted a mini so I asked if they wanted to join in as my daughter and I painted something. They had a great time. Even the brother-in-law who got so into it and when anyone asked if he was having fun would just say "it is something to do". My daughter chose the Brass Bull: My niece chose the Chimera: And the brother-in-law was given the Sharkman: He already has plans on what he wants to do next weekend to finish it up. So we will need to get him set up at the table once we are back from Reaper HQ. A pic of the girls enjoying their paint session: I continued work on my metal Dire Bear when I was able to do so. Between helping out where I could and keeping the girls from trying to pour out their own paint I got a few swabs of the brush down.
