  1. Hi everyone, here is a picture of the Cat Critter Group. I'm taking a short break and I'll be working on these guys base. I will mount them on 2 inches square base and then build a diorama with inserts to display them. The same kind of display I made for the Fox Critter, except I won't be using magnets. My plan is to build a ruined castle throne room where nature has regained it rights. This why I can manage to blend the miniatures base in the scenery. Let me know what you think about this idea.
  2. Hi everyone, it's been some time. I recently completed the individual base for the Fox Critters I painted lately. I stuck a magnet under each model and in each base socket. This way, each model and base are interchangeable. I will now build a large diorama base on which there will also be magnet encrusted socket to hold and display all the models together. As suggested by @Boaz , I used flat magnetic tape, it was easy to cut to the shape and size I needed. I used Reaper's 40mm round base and filled them with green stuff that I carved like grass. I then added natural stones and painted birch tr
  3. Here are some pictures of the entire Fox Critter group. They were all sculpted by Dave Summers for Dark Sword Miniatures. See the link below for pictures of each individual model. 4. Good day everyone. Here are some pictures of the DSM8033, Fox Shaman with Staff and Wand that I completed Yesterday. This Dark Sword Miniatures, Critter Kingdoms - Anthropomorphic Animals is 28mm pewter model that was sculpted by Dave Summers. I painted him as a white arctic fox with Reaper's Master Series Paint.
  5. And here we are - after 36 hours of building time and another 18 hours of drying, the owl mage is finally done. Check here for the WIP Thread ->Let's Make a Present! Owl Mage<-
  6. Here we go again. If you don’t want to know what led to the whole “Let’s make a present”-stuff, feel free to scroll down to the first picture. I have to admit: I am not world’s best painter. To be honest – I am far away from that. I cannot remember color theory, keep forgetting important steps or read a tutorial just to throw it away ‘cause I cannot imagine how I should turn the advices into actual results. Life is hard … Anyway – it seems that persons in my proximity have caught attention of what I am trying to do and figure that it is actually *good* and from tim
  7. Here is my first I painted from the Oathsworn Miniatures Burrows & Badgers Kickstarter. The Hare Warrior. While he is intended to be a gaming piece, I'll probable never get to field him (save in a solo battle). So I ultimately stopped fiddling with blending on the NMM. The rules recommend a 40mm base so that is what I went with. Here is how the Hare finally turned out: Thanks for looking and any C&C you feel inspired to post.
