  1. Another quite challenging Mini. I seem to be wrestling with these characters more than I would normally. I have the suspicion that I am doing rather more difficult mini's, and using a lot more ideas, and experimentation than I have since starting this incredible hobby. I was originally going to use the broad sword that also came with this sculpt, the sculpture demanded and rejected the sword every time I put it in place, I finally gave up, axe went on like a piece of cake ! I chose to mix all my most difficult colors to paint him up. Robinh will be very happy with one color choice..LOL. When I first started painting I wanted to do a bronze and other color mixture, never could quite get it where I like it. I remembered it, and this time I pulled it off. There are three bronze colors that I mixed for the armor (two color's of green, and the Blue for the rose medallions, and face on the armor. I tried to make everything complimentary as I went about the mini. Here is my interpretation of the Male Knight with Axe. As usual your input, commentary and likes are appreciated.
